Another growing problem in our society, especially in Lagos, is the issue of those Almajiri children begging in traffic. This morning at Ajah, I witnessed something that really shocked me. One babe had cooked rice and stew, packed them in takeaway plates, and came out to share with the children. It might have been her birthday or just an act of kindness. She asked them to form a line, and they did, although some kept trying to cut in front. She kept sending those ones back to maintain order. As soon as she gave out the last plate of food, everything changed. The children who didn’t get any, especially those she had sent to the back, suddenly started throwing things at her. It was chaotic. What shocked me the most was that some of the same children throwing things were holding the food she had just given them in their other hand. One of the stones hit her on the forehead, and she started bleeding. People quickly rushed in to help her, and the children scattered and ran away. The tears of regret on her face were painful to watch. Imagine trying to do something kind and ending up getting hurt for it. The amount of regret she will have right now eh😤

@steezy10_ In my 20 years of tech journey including MSc(IT) there is no way a dell or HP beats a Mac. I have used over 7 Hp and 3 dell abd 2 Mac. Currently using M4. There is no way a dell laptop can beat a Mac. Before I forget I have also install & configured dell servers also Mac is 👑

Went to register a SIM today, and what happened honestly got me thinking. After the first process, he captured my face, and I assumed everything was done. Next thing, he said the registration didn’t go through because the network was bad. Since I wasn’t paying too much attention at first, we started the process all over again. This time, I noticed he picked up another SIM entirely, not the one we had registered earlier. That was when it hit me… he had registered two different SIMs. This is exactly how people get implicated in things they know nothing about. I made sure I collected both SIMs, even though he kept denying it. I’m very sure of what I saw. In the next 24 hours, I’ll find out if both were activated. Please, whenever you’re registering a SIM, pay close attention. Don’t assume anything. Watch every step.

Growing up, MD used to be the most prestigious title everyone wanted to use. Or maybe based on what I knew. Now, everyone prefers to use the CEO title and MD appears no longer a fashionable title. The only top company I know that uses MD now is NLNG. For others that still use MD, mostly groups, they prefer GMD (eg NNPC). Some combine both: MD/CEO. I suspect (haven't researched to be sure) American business press/literature is responsible for the popularization of the use of CEO. CEO is actually a general title for the most senior person in the day to day running of an organization. For example, the VC of a university is a CEO of a university even though it is not the official title. Now, that prestigious MD we all knew growing up and watched in Nollywood is no longer common. CEO is the fancy title everyone wants to use now.

Again. Alot or people just feel ignorant about little things. If you are in Lagos . When your company pays your tax. You get a notification email and you can login into the etax system to get your history. You can even write them or chat with them. They are quite friendly.
