Konstantin Kisin, who grew up in the Soviet Union, said something that stopped me cold. While the West teaches its children to be critical of — and often ashamed of — their own country, places like China and Russia are raising theirs to be strong, confident, and focused on science and excellence. Not equity initiatives. He put it bluntly: we’re in a real battle of civilizations. And if we keep weakening our own foundations from within, how exactly do we expect to compete? His line about bridges hit especially hard: “A bridge doesn’t work very well if it’s built on diversity instead of math.” It’s a sobering reminder from someone who’s seen ideological self-sabotage up close. What do you make of this take — is teaching national self-doubt a luxury the West can afford, or a strategic vulnerability in a competitive world?

wow. The Middle East Forum analyzed 1,378 news articles covering the war and found... 98% cited Gaza Ministry of Health figures. Only 5% mentioned Israeli casualty figures for combatants killed. The New York Times cited militant casualty numbers in 0% of its articles analyzed. CNN and the Guardian managed 1%. Only 15% of all articles even noted that Hamas doesn't distinguish combatants from civilians in its data. HonestReporting found that over a four-month period (February-May 2024), 84% of major English-language publications failed to make the combatant-civilian distinction in their total casualty numbers. The effect is that every figure gets absorbed by the audience as a civilian death count. The framing compounds the numbers problem. Journalists routinely cited aggregate totals as purely civilian. CNN's Fareed Zakaria referenced "35,000 civilians dying." CBS's Major Harrison Mann asked, "I don't know how you kill 35,000 civilians by accident." The UN itself produced videos titled "25,000 Civilians Killed" without distinguishing combatants. Meanwhile, asymmetric source scrutiny was the norm. Hamas figures were questioned in roughly 1% of articles. IDF data was challenged in 50% of the limited cases where Israeli sources were cited at all. Nearly 20% of articles cited GHM numbers without even attributing them to Hamas.

I reject the attack on Nerdeen Kiswani. But watch the pattern: Jewish suspect? Affiliation highlighted. Muslim suspect? Identity withheld. That’s agenda.

Just a reminder to everyone at No Kings today: If a Jew-hating terrorist sympathizer shows up to your protest and no one asks them to leave, you’re at a Jew-hating pro-terrorist rally. I hope this helps. There is no gray area here.

This is a No Kings protest currently taking place in Philadelphia, where they’re chanting, “Death to the Zionist entity and Death to America.”

When the leader of racist party calls a Jewish journalist - me - ‘parasitic’ simply for reporting that his Jewish family are scared by the direction his ‘Zionism is racism’ party is going in. This is the true face of the nasty Greens.
Zack Polanski@ZackPolanski

Daily Mail and journalist? Those words don't belong together with your parasitic behaviour. You try your daily nonsense - with a paper that literally backed the fascists - and the Green Party continue to rise. Together - we will win. independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-n…

Zack Polanski’s own family told me: 'If the Zionism-is-racism motion is passed it will make the Greens the most anti-Semitic party in British history since Oswald Mosley's British Union of Fascists,' said a second relation. 'The idea of it is one of the most sickening things I've heard in a long time.' A third family member said: 'The mad thing is that he's gay, he's Jewish but he's cosying up to people whose ideology is the complete antithesis of everything that he's supposed to stand for. It's like he's a chicken, telling us to vote for KFC!’ Ironically, the Green Party press office - apparently without irony - told me it would be antisemitism to publish this. Full story 👇🏼

The double standard is impossible to ignore. When a Muslim man threw handmade bombs at a group of protesters while shouting "Allahu Akbar," your first instinct was to blame and label the protesters you disagree with. You downplayed the attack by calling it merely "an explosive device," with no mention of the perpetrator’s religion or the religious chant. Yet in this latest case, you immediately led with the fact that the suspect was a member of a "Jewish" group. This selective framing reveals a clear bias. You apply one standard to one group and an entirely different one to another. Such blatant inconsistency is reprehensible.

A member of an offshoot of the Jewish Defense League — designated by the FBI as a "known violent extremist organization" — was allegedly building explosive devices to target the home of Nerdeen Kiswani in a chilling act of political violence. The defendant reportedly planned to flee to Israel following the attack. This comes amid an alarming rise in threats and violence across the country targeting Palestinian human rights advocates. I am thankful that the NYPD and FBI thwarted this plot, which could have endangered Nerdeen’s life and those of other New Yorkers. Let me be clear: We will not tolerate violent extremism in our city. No one should face violence for their political beliefs or their advocacy. I am relieved that Nerdeen is safe. Our city must meet hate with solidarity, and meet fear with an unshakable commitment to justice and to one another.

Fixed it for you: Two members of ISIS - designated by the FBI and most of the world's governments as a violent terrorist organization - threw homemade explosive devices outside of Gracie Mansion attempting to murder dozens of New Yorkers in a chilling act of political violence and attempted terrorism. The defendants reportedly said they were trying to outdo the Boston Marathon terrorist bombing and wanted to be "even bigger." One of the suspects reportedly stated "This isn't a religion that just stands. when people talk about the blessed name of the prophet, we take action, we take action. If I didn't do it, someone else will come and do it" This comes amid an alarming rise in violence across the country perpetrated by Islamic extremists against American citizens and over 30 years of various terrorist attacks by violent islamic extremists against New York city itself. I am thankful to the brave NYPD officers that put their lives on the line to protect New Yorkers. I would especially like to thank Commissioner Tisch, Chief Aaron Edwards and Sgt. Luis Navarro for their selflessness and heroism. Let me be clear. We will not tolerate violent extremism in our city. No one should face violence for their political beliefs or their advocacy. Even those political beliefs that may be objectionable to myself or others. I am relieved that our citizens are safe. Our city must meet hate with solidarity, and meet fear with an unshakable commitment to justice and to one another. New York will never again cower in the face of terrorism.

Data analytics confirm huge bias in favor of pro-Islamic regime of Iran by BBC, CNN, NBC and NY Times. These media orgs used "war crime" 32 times in news reports in the first 3 weeks of the U.S./Israel-Iran war. ZERO references solely to crimes by Islamic regime, and 88% media uses referred solely to U.S. or Israel. Islamic regime uses cluster bombs against Israeli civilians, shoots missiles and suicide drones at civilian targets in numerous Arab countries not involved in war, fires missiles at holy sites in Old Jerusalem, etc., etc. ZERO identification of these war crimes as standalone crimes by major Western media organizations. This is shameful.
CAMERA@CAMERA4Truth

A new CAMERA analysis found @bbc, @cnn, @nbc and @nytimes used the phrase "war crime" 32 times in the first three weeks of the U.S./Israel-Iran war. 88% of those applications were directed solely toward the actions of the United States and/or Israel. Zero were directed solely toward the actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran. "The disproportionate application of the phrase stands in contrast with reality," writes @dmlitman. "Of the over 400 ballistic missiles fired at Israel, it is estimated that half of them were cluster munitions which drop dozens of submunitions over a wide radius of five miles. As of Mar. 22, at least two dozen of these missiles have hit populated areas, 'with over 100 separate impact sites.' While cluster munitions are not universally banned, using them to target populated areas almost certainly constitutes a war crime."

Today, the Council passed my legislation to protect safe access to houses of worship while fully upholding the sacrosanct rights to free speech and protest. This bill requires the NYPD to publish their plans, strengthens transparency and accountability, and ensures communities are part of the process. We also advanced a broader package to improve safety at schools and houses of worship, combat harassment, educate students on online hate, and expand support for student loan borrowers. Thank you to my Council colleagues for prioritizing this important work.

We firmly believe the Freedom of Speech in this country is sacrosanct and should never be restricted based on content. However, that constitutional right does not require an elective body to platform vile, antisemitic, anti-American bigots like some of our colleagues have done under the guise of a “policy perspective briefing” at City Council offices.

This morning at 10 am, during a vote on several bills to combat Antisemitism, City Council presents the CREAM of the Ivy League crop: Badar Khan Suri from Georgetown U, married to the daughter of a senior HAMAS terrorist who openly promotes terrorist propaganda, glorified October 7, denied RAPE and MURDER at Nova, & Mahmoud Khalil, the architect of CHAOS and lead negotiator for encampments at Columbia U that sent Jewish students home due to safety concerns. I’m surprised Mrs. Mamdani is not attending this very educational event that she would very much enjoy!
