My hot take for the day is that this is probably the worst defeat of the night. Not being able to undo partisan gerrymandering makes all elections through 2030 harder for Democrats.

This is what I was feeling all day yesterday. Of course Trump can't change the date of the election. But that isn't the point. The point is to make the election look "rigged" no matter how it turns out.
What good are laws if no one holds you accountable for breaking them?
