PayRequest ($PAYR) looks interesting. Most crypto payment projects focus on moving money. PayRequest is building the infrastructure for how people, businesses, apps, and even AI agents discover and make payments on the internet.
A few things that stand out for me personally:
• PayRequest already provides payment links, subscriptions, invoices, and crypto payments.
• Payments.txt aims to become a payment standard for the web, similar to robots.txt, but for payments. It allows websites to publish exactly how they can be paid, making payments discoverable by apps and AI.
• $PAYR is tied to the ecosystem, with a portion of platform fees used for token buybacks and burns.
What makes it interesting is that the vision goes beyond payments, it’s about creating an open payment layer for the internet and the coming AI economy.
Still a very early-stage project, but if payments.txt gains adoption and AI agents start making autonomous payments, the upside could be significant.
Definitely one to keep on the radar.
