@royalsminors If he continues to hit like this in Omaha could we maybe see a trade? Maybe an upgrade in the pen if Estevez never returns to form? Or is he just strictly Triple AAA depth with no real value outside of that.

I still think he’s probably something like a .221/.305/.350 hitter in the bigs if he came up today.
Also as a lefty, not really a strong platoon fit anywhere on the current big league roster, barring some sort of Caglianone demotion (wouldn’t bet on that).

Another home run from Kameron Misner. That’s three on the season now. Entered today slashing .295/.407/.500 with — big for him — a 20.4% K%. He wouldn’t produce at that level in the bigs but if KC figured out the strikeouts he could be impactful.

@Chabotsports Falter was pitching well when we got him so at the time on paper it was a good trade. I personally liked Sisk too but he had a funky throw motion and Callan Moss was a 22 year old single A pitcher. To get a SP for a team that needed it who had 1.5 WAR at the deadline is a steal.

@royalsminors Bottom 5 in the league last year in runs per game. Many reasons why (some bigger than others) but I think the biggest reason is just the drop off in the lineup. Still not the biggest fan of Zumwalt just because of the situational hitting but this lineup still has holes in 2026.

But everyone knows (including himself) that Ohtani is better than Jazz. Confidence is key in everyone but too much can be damaging and that’s called cockiness.

Thats like going into work and your boss asks you if you’re doing a good enough job for a raise. And you tell you boss “nah I think Richard is better than me”
