Hi #ABAP experts, question of the day! Any ideas about a potential root cause? - I have a loop (250 entries) - Inside a select /w LO join is performed in ~5ms/iteration (1 sec in sum) - If I call a method (encapsulating only the select), it is ~450ms/iteration (2 min in sum)

@vobu @typescript Created an own demo using TS now ( github.com/timostark/ui5-… ) using a statically-typed JSON Model and promisified OData && Message-Box calls. Still feels like a (wonderful) new world to develop OData and Local-State calls with type-saftey and @OpenUI5

@vobu @typescript @ui5con While migrating our ts projects that issue mentioned in the PR was really the last big one I noticed. Great that this Is also planned to be fixed. Will raise a pr in case anything else comes up. Thanks for the resp.

@vobu @typescript i know, way too early: But I immediatly switched our projects from our "half full" typescript solution to the solution provided in the example - and it is just fantastic :-) Finally modern and "standard" typescript without 100 workarounds. Finally.
