This is such an exceptional point. Messi didn’t fight father time, he embraced it. And that’s precisely why he’s been able to age so graciously.
It takes an unbelievable amount of intelligence, self-awareness and above all, humility, to do.

What fascinates me most about Messi’s longevity is that he didn’t fight aging. While football became faster and more physical, Messi became slower and smarter. The older he gets, the more it feels like he’s playing a different sport from everyone else. For context messi spent 20 mins today walking the game…
