@petefrasermusic I know. And it was the right size back then (cooking for two) and woefully undersized now (cooking for a ravenous 5).

@petefrasermusic I got an orange Le Creuset pot from the old scrap joint just off Brick Lane in about 2008. Also £5. Did my dash early.

@petefrasermusic Crumbs. Glad to hear you remain unkilled. Definitely the preferred state of being.

@amusedaleks @awilkinson @AeroPress @AeroPress Go is their next gen for heavy travelers. I take it everywhere I go, along with some ground beans. Just need hot water at my destination and I'm set with superb coffee. Love the fully self contained package.

A few weeks ago, we shared our first annual letter as a public company. After 17+ years of operating under the radar as a private company, it feels pretty cool to reveal: • Our company structure • Our approach to investing • Our core business units • Our financial statements I recommend reading and, if you're around, to attend our first Annual General Meeting in Victoria, BC this Thursday June 15th at 11AM (free tickets here: bit.ly/tiny-agm). Here's the letter: bit.ly/tiny-letter-20…

@ericjgrimm Right on. I’m not sure that stage of entrepreneurship ever ends, but it’s definitely balanced by positives and experience in dealing with the many crises.

Your POV: Me when I've just handed a random microphone hogger the actual microphone during Q&A time at the startup event, and now I'm feeling the crushing weight of expectation from the audience to cut this off and fast, and I'm sweating bullets about it now too?!

@Morgan_Eckroth Especially considering _basically_ everyone is already tipping an extra $1 or more on top of the drink price.

@timstyles Although, I’m sure there’s a good bit of variance based on what part of the country you live in, city or otherwise

There’s a piece that’s going live soon where I say that you should be tipping AT LEAST a dollar or two for your coffee if you’re able to. I’m already bracing myself for the inevitable ruckus that’s going to come from it.

@Morgan_Eckroth Of course. Forgive my ignorance, but can you remind me of the argument against simply charging more for drinks and paying staff a living base wage? The process of tipping feels like everyone in the chain (except farmers and baristas) is insulated from financial uncertainty.
