I’m going to keep saying this. There are no winners with Covid, or severe influenza that I nearly died of in 2000, but the cost of lockdown is now way out stripping the benefit. My sons friend overdosed and died yesterday morning. He was 17...there is a better way. Please x

Everything that has happened over the last 6 months has had consequences. None of us fully understand them, certainly not politicians. One thing I am sure of is that we have got the balance wrong and cancer, cardiac and millions of other patients are suffering because of it.

Even the BBC can’t help reporting this. The UK (population 60m) has more deaths from COVID-19 yesterday than the entire 27 countries of the EU combined (450m) The Vote Leave government took one of the best health, science and medical systems in the world, and Brexited it

ONS figures show that cancer is now expected to be causing more fatalities than Coronavirus in the UK. Many seem to have forgotten that the virus is not the only thing that can kill people. I dread to think how many have been too scared to seek treatment and suffered from it.
