Watched it finally. Just couldn't wrap my head around the all the fuss about the film. Or maybe that was precisely the plan, to grab headlines. Nothing avant garde in this film. Pakistan bashing is an old formula which always works. The Netflix audience now loves gore after watching likes of GoT. Add to it a bit of not-so-subtle political bashing of the old regime, which is now typical of Bollywood. But thats that. Bollywood can only go as far as #Dhurandhar while the south films are literally pushing the boundaries of Indian filmmaking.
