The feminization of culture is an attack on masculinity and rugged individualism driven by affluent liberal white women. An example of this is the homogenization of gay culture into something appealing and non-threatening to these women. Make no mistake: masculinity is threatening to them. Gay men are not one-dimensional Will & Grace cardboard cutouts that exist for affluent liberal white women to virtue-signal to their peers. I have an issue with how they see us: as campy, bitchy asexuals obsessed with materialism, cocktails, fashion, and silly reality TV like the (un)Real Housewives of Who F--king Cares-all while carrying a poodle in what is essentially a purse. In other words: Will & Grace. Further, we are expected to adhere to their "suicidal empathetic" left-wing political ideology. I highly value the Tom of Finland aesthetic. I reject Marxist gender ideology as much as I reject Islamism. The moment you step out of that stereotype, the problems start. They begin to see us as the enemy simply because we don't adhere to some stupid caricature perpetuated by streaming shows. I loathe reality TV and absolutely hate drag shows. I purchase my clothes at Walmart, work out, and love sports (go Tampa Bay Lightning). I drive a truck and have a pit bull mix that could not possibly fit into some ridiculous male purse. Opinions outside of the orthodox progressive ideology are not tolerated by the so-called "tolerant left." I am a pro-life, homonationalist populist who believes in the supremacy of Western culture because it has advanced civilization, lifted millions out of poverty, enshrined civil rights, and protected minorities across the globe where those values are dominant. I am deeply troubled by the feminization of culture: the lack of critical thinking (with an emphasis on "feelings"), the attempt to Balkanize us into categories, the attempt to legislate away risk and hurt feelings, and the attacks on rugged individualism. I sometimes say inappropriate things, burp, fart, and smell like a man after working out or working on my truck. I will NOT apologize to anyone for being a man. My existence as a gay man is dependent on valuing myself and fighting for my happiness. I will not compromise on this. As Ayn Rand said: 'Learn to value yourself, which means: fight for your happiness.' That is my New Year's resolution for 2026. To rugged masculinity and individualism!"

@clintbuckingham I always used to say- our pet had better health insurance than we did. He was jokingly dubbed the $1000 /day dog. At 18 years old he was getting the royal treatment- full time nanny, lasers, accupuncture… “must be nice”- we would say. All that aside—They’re worth every penny.
