@LiindyVR Also the cable price has doubled if not tripled over the years, at least OEM. I expect crappy quality from Taiwan, but their pattern of deliberately discontinuing in-demand products is a brazen anti-customer move. I wonder how much it would cost to have a third party build them.

The Vive Pro headset cable is the most dogshit piece of planned obsolescence I have ever had the displeasure of needing to buy multiple times.

Viva Piñata immediately jumped off the page to me for a Furality Ultra avatar concept as a mid-2000s furry game. Unfortunately each piece has been juuust slightly beyond me. Great for learning, bad for deadlines. So probably won't have it ready for Furality, but hopefully soon!

@cqcqcqdx Let's also not forget that, somewhere in that car, there's the ability to step up 12v to ~300 to 600v to run those vacuum tubes. ;P

A custom amateur ham radio setup installed inside a 1952 Plymouth Cranbrook. The vehicle features a Multi-Elmac transmitter paired with a Gonset receiver mounted under the main dash. A heavily modified dashboard area with a bank of auxiliary gauges.

@Hirozu7 Thanks for sharing the story. I think it's easy for people to get taken in a bit by all the happily-ever-after coming-out stories, but there's a lot of times (for me too) when it doesn't go so smoothly. Also appreciated your dad's take re: easier being with guys. ;-P

My dad said I told him when I was 12 but took it as me misunderstanding life because I was so young (and i dont even remember doing that). I grew up homophobic because my parents were. Until I had to stay in a room with a gay guy in boarding school because of major floods (1/6)

Since the cool kids are doing it. ;P I did drive through ID/MT/ND/SD/NE as well but I wouldn't call that "visiting."
