It's unbelievable, in this context & ongoing Israeli attacks on civilian infrastructure in south Lebanon, that the Lebanese Gov't continues its direct talks with Israel in Washington - tactically, putting aside political & moral considerations, this is totally foolish!

BREAKING: Israel just dropped bombs on the Qaraoun Dam in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley — a key water reservoir serving civilian populations across surrounding villages. This is not a battlefield target. It is a critical water infrastructure. This is an act of genocide.

Let’s talk about Rania Mallah, killed yesterday in an Israeli strike on Bourj al-Shamali in Tyre.
For 12 hours, Rania was buried beneath the rubble & known to still be alive.
Her family kept calling her mobile phone.
She would switch it on to let them know she was still there. Still breathing. Still waiting to be rescued.
To let Lebanese Civil Defence rescuers know where she was trapped.
Rescue teams pulled others out & kept digging with their bare hands in search of her, until orders came to halt all rescue operations until the following morning.
But they had Rania’s number.
They kept calling her.
And she kept answering.
She never spoke.
But they could hear her breathing.
For 12 hours, Rania lay there alone beneath broken concrete, stones, darkness, dust & fear. Most likely injured. Listening to voices above her, knowing people were trying to reach her but were being prevented from continuing.
Just like in Maarakeh, rescuers were forced to stop searching overnight.
Still, they kept calling her phone to give her hope. To let her know she had not been abandoned.
By around 1:00 a.m., roughly 12 hours after the strike, her phone finally went dead.
The battery had most likely run out.
This morning, rescuers resumed the search.
They found Rania.
Next to her was her mobile phone.
She had died.
Israel killed her twice.
The first time with a bomb.
The second time when rescuers were prevented from saving her.

🚨Hezbollah official Mahmoud Qamati:
- We are capable of toppling the country and the government, but we want stability for the country. However, our patience has its limits.
- The Vichy government used to arrest and execute resistance fighters, then it was overthrown, and the traitors within it were executed. "God willing, we won't reach that point."
- Based on the available information and stances, it seems that a direct confrontation with this political authority is inevitable after the war ends, regardless of the outcome.
- The government in Lebanon is no longer fit to govern the country, and its positions only serve the Israeli enemy. Therefore, a confrontation is coming, and the traitors will pay the price for their treachery.

Rejecting any interference in Lebanon’s internal affairs, I have summoned the Iranian Chargé d’Affaires to the Ministry tomorrow and instructed the Secretary-General to convey Lebanon’s firm objection to a series of incidents and statements that constitute a clear violation of our national sovereignty and a breach of our government’s decisions.

A Brazilian today told me she visited Europe a week ago
She says she felt more unsafe in Europe than the city were she's from in South Brazil, Curitiba, which is pretty safe
She felt most unsafe in Belgium and the Netherlands
Which is really sad to hear as a Dutch person that it has come to this
She was followed by three guys after getting off at the train, who were signalling things to each other as if they were gonna try rob her or worse
She then fled to a group of local guys to act like she was their friend so they got away from her
Of course one thing to note she was in the center of Amsterdam and Brussels, which you wouldn't wish to anybody, but then again it's crazy we can't keep our centers in Europe safe anymore
In North and South America, downtown cities are generally like this, full of crime, junkies, etc, Brazil of course too, but Europe's centers used to be nice and historical and cute and clean and SAFE!
