The 10:1 pay ratio I am fine with as a policy, however it couldn't be done over night, i'm sure we'll hear more details about it. But worth noting that in the 60s, the average ratio was 30:1, now it's 124:1. Inequality must be dealt with.

SERIOUS QUESTION: if somebody handed you $7,000 and said it’s because you’re ugły, are you accepting it?

@wormhellscape @Alonso_GD You're right the greens would probably introduce some kind of Digital ID and ban us from communicating on certain websites to stop us organising. Oh wait, they're doing that to try and disrupt the "far right" from organising against the Globo-socialist narratives.

We are witnessing an incredible new ideology emerge: “Don’t vote Green bc their immigration policies will lower working class salaries by importing cheap labour but also don’t vote Green bc their 10:1 policy will force businesses to raise working class salaries to please CEOs”
Politics UK@PolitlcsUK

🚨 NEW: Green leader Zack Polanski will call for policies to end the "affordability crisis" tomorrow - The introduction of a 10:1 pay ratio, whereby the highest-paid employee earns no more than ten times the lowest-paid - Free school meals for all primary and secondary pupils - Universal energy bill support for households and stronger rent controls - A customs union with the EU to cut business costs

@1XD11DX1 @Alonso_GD They are historical, and most before our hyper-connected and rapidly communicating current world. People can disrupt the narrative perpetuated by the ruling class in real time now: we can certainly learn from those situations though, and adapt.

@wormhellscape @Alonso_GD The only problem is we have a historical precedent to fall back on, where these specific policies have failed: France - 1685 Russia - 1917 Uganda - 1972 Cuba - 1959 Zimbabwe - 2000s Venezuela - 1998 I have more?

@JeanHatchet It's a far right tactic to blame muslim people because of a sterotype that muslim people hate dogs, and it's working. They wish to incite a race riot.

This is happening in two Sheffield parks. Reportedly a dog has died. Those of you who remember my beautiful Ethel may remember she was poisoned and we were never sure by what. She fought for her life for a week in intensive care before she died. It was traumatic. (Thanks to all who tried to help her) Whoever is doing this needs jail.

@StufferSuitcase @RachelCDailey_ The thing that divisive politics does so well is keep people who want the same thing divided, by keeping us distracted. I wont be a high earning CEO, but they want us to aspire to it, so that we don't take from what they are: Wealthy. Why would we take what we aspire to be.

@wormhellscape @RachelCDailey_ a barrier to you being able to work in the right jobs. Incentivising companies and the wealthy to provide more scholarships and fees too. I think we should cut spending and taxes (but not to things like PIP).

@StufferSuitcase @RachelCDailey_ That's great! I truly mean that! But I'm not you, I'm me. I couldn't afford it financially or mentally at the time and that's how it went. I want someone else to be able to afford university and not have to struggle so hard, even if that means highly paid jobs are of the past.

@wormhellscape @RachelCDailey_ So ensuring that nobody else has a highly paid job and can pay a lot of tax will “fight for your damn life” how, exactly? I worked to pay for my degree. I worked whilst at uni. I worked 2 jobs for years. I worked to pay for studying for qualifications. That’s how I fought.

@StufferSuitcase @RachelCDailey_ I don't want a "highly paid job", I want to afford to live. Couldn't afford university. I've worked hard since I was 15: Scrubbing pots, cleaning after school, straight into cafe work, then working 2 jobs. Never claimed benefits, barely a saving in sight. "Fight" for my damn life

@wormhellscape @RachelCDailey_ This is a massive load of tripe. “Fight” for what? You don’t get a highly paid job by fighting. You get it by studying and working hard, and you keep it by working even harder and doing a good job.

@TiceRichard Richard, be serious. A "UK blackout risk is increassed by solar farms" beause the risk is they could overpower the grid by being TOO efficient. The grid clearly needs upgrading to increase the capacity of solar energy lifting us away from our over reliance on fossil fuels.

My name is Chris and I’m an alcoholic. I’m 31 days sober today. I have been invisible because I got checked into a mental facility for 2 days. They got me some much needed help and put me on anxiety meds. Hopefully I can keep this streak going and alive! I’m doing a lot better today

@mysteryb0t Partially true, but it's not necessarily him, he is just the vessel. He has a huge energy field, and not naturally so. It is sustained by 6 powerful magicians, who are feeding into him from the energy of others; energy which has been taken through force from unconcious beings.

@maxcownie_ Yeah, I want the CEO to work for £140 an hour. That's £1120 a day, £5,600 a week or £291,200 a year. I'm pretty sure they'd be fine. And then, perhaps, so would I.

People want change without it costing them anything, energetically or financially. They vote to empower someone else to make changes on their behalf so they don't have to bare the burden of discomfort and the public criticism. If we want change we must accept some discomfort.
