@bertcmiller Is this more of a “tech lead” role more than a snr software engineer role? The JD suggests so.

updated 2025 L2 roadmap: - sub-second blocks - sub-cent transactions - multi-prover - multi-sequencer - custom blockspace for apps
English

@thepranav @naruto11eth @eigen_da @AvailProject You still post the state root commitments on ethereum. Ethereum will be the final arbiter for dispute resolution.
English

@naruto11eth @eigen_da @AvailProject Just trying to understand here
By using an altDA - none of the transactions on the L2 ever touch the Eth mainnet though, right?
English

If I launch an L2 that uses @eigen_da or @AvailProject DA - is it still an Ethereum L2?

@socialforging @naruto11eth Unless someone has a knife on your throught.

@naruto11eth Store seed phrase only in mind palace. That's impossible to hack.

@dcbuilder @dabit3 Which zksummits/hacks specifically, im hoping to attend some with the intention accelerated learning🙃
English

@dabit3 eth sf, zksummits/hacks if I can, devconnect BA, eth seoul, eth prague, mb eth berlin, hopefully not ethcc, maybe ethwarsaw

@vivekbrijgupta Question: Depending on ethereum’s block time is a huugee negative right? The main reason Rollups today are winning is their fast transaction confirmation times which is huuge for UX.
What are we solving here? Only the gas fee problem?
English

rollups started as a band-aid fix to ethereum’s scaling problem. but now, they’re evolving into something more—scaling solutions that preserve decentralization, security, and economic sustainability.
one of the most promising? based rollups.
instead of relying on centralized sequencers (single points of failure, censorship risks, and mev monopolies), based rollups let ethereum validators handle transaction sequencing. this shifts power away from private actors and reinforces ethereum’s security model.
how it works:
- based rollups let l1 proposers order transactions directly
- l2 users pay a base fee, and validators capture the priority fee
- no extra consensus layer, no third-party sequencers.
- settlement and data availability are baked into ethereum
why it matters:
- inherits ethereum’s censorship resistance & security
eliminates single points of failure (no centralized sequencers)
- mev gets redistributed instead of being monopolized
- potentially cheaper tx fees by removing extra sequencing overhead
- seamless integration with l1—direct settlement on ethereum
trade-offs:
- depends on ethereum’s block times (12s confirmations)
- l1 validators still influence transaction ordering (mev isn’t gone)
- customization for specific use cases is limited
but based rollups address the “l2s are parasitic” argument very well. instead of sucking value away from ethereum, they send fees back to the l1.
booster rollups, gigagas rollups, and native rollups are next. but based rollups? they’re making a strong case for the future of ethereum scaling right now.
English

@lakancrypto @fede_intern Where can i read about this? Why is a multisig needed? Isn’t only a sequencer thats needed?
English

@fede_intern i think i understand what you're getting at
so basically the idea is to use zk rollups to verify l2 transactions on the l1 without needing a multisig or additional infrastructure
how does this impact the overall scalability of eth though

What is the best place to get an overview of what % of Solana DeFi volume is from open source vs closed source contracts?
Kevin 🇺🇦@dj_d_sol
Closed source defi seems to have won Haven’t heard any complaints about it for quite some time
English

@naruto11eth I really want to throw out some protocol names for you to roast, but i also don’t want them to get free publicity from your tweets 💀
English

@anothercohen It’s probably a very first world solution. But the idea of having a place of your own, a place to go back to even when life throws absolute shit at you provides a sense of security.
English

🌍 Best place to live in the world right now?
Reply a city and I'll collect all replies and show results later today
@levelsio@levelsio
Most important thing in choosing a place to live might be looking at the people who live there who are 30 years older than you Do they look happy, fit and healthy? Or depressed, fat and unhealthy? It's hard to escape trajectories from your environment, so you'll probably become them Choose wisely

@0xdevian @pushprotocol You can run a push node on the mainnet once it's launched in Q3. Here's a demo: youtube.com/watch?v=JCwH2p…

Push Nodes are paving the way for @pushprotocol to become the blockchain of communication, unleashing a new era for Web3 communication.
Coming soon!
English

@harshrajat @pushprotocol Can you point me to the docs to run a push node and stake PUSH? Cannot find it in the documentation in your website. Would appreciate if you could drop a link.
English

@0xdevian @pushprotocol Yes, the network is permissionless. The only thing you need to do is to stake enough PUSH tokens. The incentive would be in PUSH tokens.
