@1rustyrig @reedgalen But so far, his expertise, Ivy League has started a war that he can’t simply take control of a 20 mile strait with 100X the power. That’s a fact, you have an opinion.

If you’ve been to the American Military Cemetery in Normandy, and you’ve looked out over those rows of crosses and stars of David, you’ll know how odious this man is. Those men didn’t die for this ideology or assholes like Pete Hegseth.
Clash Report@clashreport

Pete Hegseth in Normandy: Sadly, today different European beaches are stormed by different dangerous ideologies. In Spain and Italy and Greece and Bulgaria, boats and men arrive. When will European capitals do something about that invasion? Or is it too late?

@BlakeR2025 @reedgalen I think it’s pretty clear you don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about. You’re just pulling stuff out of your ass you got fed on MSNBC. I served under Perry and Cohen and let me tell you, Hegseth would have been a huge upgrade over both of them

@1rustyrig @reedgalen If your boss gave you 100x to beat the other guy and you were way over budget and completely clueless on finishing the job- you’d be a moron.

What, specifically, is he directly over budget on? You’re calling him a moron when he has two Ivey league degrees. Isn’t that the gold standard for the left? In his first year as SecWar he’s captured the president of Venezuela, operation midnight hammer, and made the IRGC combat ineffective. You can keep launching insults at the man but his laundry list of successes runs contrary. The harder you go the more you sound like a bitter fucking regard

@1rustyrig @reedgalen We hire a guy to run our War dept and give him $900B annual budget. The other gets $8B. Our guy is billions over budget and so late in delivering a result that he gave up on a completion date. We hired the moron. Facts, no opinion

@HinckJon @greyzabelFC @1967mustangman You need to read a history book, CO2 boy. Patton slammed counterparts, higher ups, subordinates, and allies alike. And he had ivory grips on his 45

My Dad landed on Utah Beach D-Day +2 and fought on from there for months. My Dad was a war hero. I knew him well enough to know that he would be disgusted by Pete Hegseth.

As a Florida Republican I’m opposed to data centers. The jobs they bring in are temporary during the construction process. After that, they’re managed remotely. You might have a couple dudes on standby to swap cards out but it isn’t the boon people think it is. Not to mention we have a water issue. I’d comprise though. Kick Nestle and the rest of them out of our springs and give 25% of what they were pumping out to Data Center construction. But cap it at that. We get 75% of our spring water back and the other side can be happy they have a big box building that provides nothing to the community

I agree that the cattle ranchers are getting a raw deal. You can trace that back to the monopoly of the meat packers and asinine rules regarding processing animals for consumption. Cargill (packer) underpays the ranchers and over charges at the store because they have a monopoly. As far as beef superiority goes, yeah, we have good beef but it isn’t the best. Japan has several varieties that are heads and tails above prime. Argentina too. Korea for pork as well. Hands down the best.

Yes. I don't buy it if I can avoid it because I don't relish putting American farmers and ranchers out of business. Do you know what the average age of an American farmer is? The system has been so corrupted that it's not profitable to pass down farms anymore (in many but not all situations of course) so the larger farms gobble up smaller farms because they can use economies of scale to be profitable. But this leads to monocropping and higher usage of herbicides, pesticide applications, and fertilizer use, which pollutes streams and rivers. I have had Argentinan beef, but I wish to avoid it as much as I can because American beef is superior and I support our countrymen and women. @Sec_B_Rollin needs to make country or origin and single point traceback a huge priority when she's not dealing with new world screwworm infestations that just crossed our border.

On our MAHA journey, we have introduced the following: 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef ✅ 100% beef tallow fries ✅ 100% beef tallow tots ✅ Grade A Wisconsin butter ✅ A2 whole milk ✅ Cane-sugar Coca-Cola ✅ Elimination of all microwaves ✅ And we are working on changing our buns! We are committed to becoming seed-oil free, because we are committed to making fast food the best it can be.

Did you ever serve? As a veteran myself I think Pete is exactly the right person for the job. He’s restored the faith in the military for a lot of us vets and current service members. Real ROE, specific and numerated objectives, overwhelming use of force. Nothing like the past 20 years where the ROE were politicized and fighting with one hand tied behind our backs.

@1967mustangman The Hegseth braggadocio. The preening. The hyper aggressive speech. The attacks on good military members that don’t match his model.

@SteaknShake This is most likely beef imported from Central and South Ameica. My guess is Argentina. It's not American beef. You would have said that if it were.

Yes, you are reading this right. Desantis used $1 BILLION of Florida tax payer money to build detention centers that were ultimately shut down. Meanwhile, we are 50th in the nation for education funding, have an affordable housing crisis and kicking kids off of healthcare.
Claire Heddles@claireheddles

DeSantis won’t say how much he’s spent to carry out his vision for state-run immigration detention centers, but his office has signed at least 55 contracts worth $1 billion over the past year for the effort, a @MiamiHerald analysis found. miamiherald.com/news/politics-…
