LeBron played Steph in the Finals 4 consecutive times and at no point in time did we leave those series thinking “Steph > Bron”. Fast forward almost a decade later and I’m seeing the “Steph > Bron” takes as if we don’t have 4 consecutive series that prove otherwise.

LeBron was guarded mostly in single coverage and the Spurs even sagged off him and DARED him to shoot. But by all means, don’t go back and actually rewatch that finals series and continue to use this one singular image from a 4 game finals series to judge how LeBron was defended.

Go to the series before that against the pistons. Jump shot was just fine so this whole notion he couldnt make jumpers is so over blown
