The policing of the “disruptor” tactic by match officials is aimed at ensuring a fair contest between a defending player attempting to field a kick and a chaser from the attacking team competing for the ball in the air. nrl.com/news/2026/04/1…

I lived in Hungary for several years under the Orbán dictatorship.
The funny thing was, people could and did say whatever came into their heads, protests were held in front of the parliament, there was a gay cruise bar down the road and Orbán held elections.
And yet, the country was a dictatorship.
Whereas in the UK, people tend to be distinctly guarded and if they do say the wrong thing very publicly, they get locked up.
And yet, it's a free country.
Once you understand that words can mean whatever we want them to mean, it begins to make sense.

Social cohesion isn’t something we take for granted. It’s something we build together, through respect and understanding.
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa is in Australia, supporting our strong and diverse Muslim community and the values that bring us together.
A global voice for interfaith dialogue, and a leader in the fight against extremism and hate, his work continues to bring people together across faiths and cultures.
Thank you for meeting with me in Sydney this morning.

@StevenJMiles You sacked teachers who didn't comply with the vaccine mandates

Lt Gen Susan Coyle is Chief of the Australian Army
Her official records show -
-no combat arms service
-no personal weapon use in defence
-no instances of being under enemy small arms fire
A Chief of the Army who has never experienced direct combat action. Let that sink in. She does however do a wicked Welcome to Country, very often

@PeterSweden7 When your leader gets praise from Hillary Clinton for winning the election, you know you're fucked.
English

@MarkoMatvikov Straight to MSM coffers. In return for positive publicity. Hard to see it any other way.

This may have good intentions, but it's naive.
When trust in government is low, even honest ads come across as propaganda.
Call me skeptical this will achieve its desired effect.
And I doubt the $20m includes the time cost for public servants involved.

@QBCCIntegrity Standard socialist playbook. Keep costs so high you don't have time for anything other than work

The three lads at the top were murdered by the piece of shit at the bottom. He was a Taliban posing as a friendly Afghan National Army soldier, working with the Australians. After the incident, they sent Ben and his team in to get him. It sounds like Ben was the man that the bosses sent in to sort things out. He is the bloke you want in your corner when shit goes down. Unfortunately Ben never caught up with him. We had seven soldiers murdered by Taliban posing as Afghan Army. The boys did not know who the enemy was. They didn't wear a uniform and after they shot at our troops, they hid amongst the woman and children.
Nothing is perfect in war ..

English

@Niatheno @macsween_prue They notified the MSM and they were set into position. All of that could've been avoided if they rang him and said come in. He would've. All staged.
English

@Niatheno @macsween_prue You're completely ignoring the fact the AFP could've called him and he would hand himself in. Instead they staged it for the media to set an example and humiliate him. Are you ok with the AFP conducting themselves in this way? Putting aside whether you believe he is guilty or not
English

@AlfredGSD @macsween_prue Yeah? Just like his defamation case was thrown out of court as he was ruled by the judge to be a war criminal and a disgrace to Australia.
The AFP and Department of Prosecutions don't proceed with these things if they don't have significant evidence.
English

@willyrifff @BroncosRebuild Because he's staring at a player its a penalty? Thst makes no sense
English

@AlfredGSD @BroncosRebuild No cause he’s not changing his direction, he’s pretending to catch while staring at drinky that’s a penalty now.
English

@Niatheno @macsween_prue BRS said he would hand himself in if they wanted to arrest him. Why would the AFP call the MSM to be there to film the arrest? Why would they do it in front of his family and the public. It will be thrown out of court due a lack of evidence. The whole thing stinks
English

@AlfredGSD @macsween_prue I know. But considering they've already found that he probably did commit war crimes and the fact the AFP wouldn't have charged him unless they were confident it would result in a conviction - they're probably already at that level of beyond reasonable doubt
English

@nicole_lazarou @ChrisHeHim1 Unbelievable but not surprising. We're not a serious country
