Canada is learning this the hard way. — “Gurkanwal Singh, 24 recently pleaded guilty in a Bracebridge courtroom to careless use of a fir€arm. Court heard that on Feb. 3, 2025, officers responded to a call for service in the Georgian Bay area, where they found a Jeep stuck on Crown land. Singh was identified as the driver, and fir€arms were located inside the vehicle. The court heard police later obtained video footage from an Instagram account allegedly linked to Singh, showing him sh00ting fir€arms in a reckless manner from the same vehicle. Investigators reviewed multiple videos dating back over time, including footage showing him using several fir€arms and discharging a g|_|n from inside the vehicle. Court heard Singh had obtained his Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) while in Canada on a work permit.
