The point is it just does what fiat has done, give more value to older holders and robs the labor of future generations with no physical backing of assets. On top of that, it needs electricity and constant internet connection to utilize. Only works if it's a clean slate where every country is involved and coins are divided up through an agreement. Even then it's still not better than straight gold or physical assets.

Bitcoin is ultimately an IQ test and this "Professor" has failed. 1) It doesn't matter who created it. It is decentralised and controlled by no single entity. That's kind of the whole point. 2) As for "where are the blockchain servers?" They're everywhere. Tens of thousands of nodes running across the globe. No single point of failure. No off switch. It's been 17 years and they still fail to understand the basics. It's okay to say "I don't know" sometimes, you know.

@ChuckH14491265 @B2radB @ZynxBTC You’re focusing on wages going down in BTC but ignoring that prices go down too what matters is purchasing power In fiat your money loses value over time BTC does the opposite

Oh, my bad. 1/100,000,000 BTC is the smallest unit. So imagine 1/100,000,000 BTC in 100 years being the equivalent of 1 year's worth of labor in today's terms. That's not the same thing as dollar fiat inflation stealing labor for future generations? You must be retarded, then. Imagine buying 75k dollars worth of BTC that CIA/NSA made out of thin air 17 years ago.

I’ve been using Lovable for the past 12 months Built 30+ apps and websites so I know exactly what it can do Switched back to Caffeineai recently… and yeah, I’m not going back It’s only been out a year and it’s already operating at a different level Takes slightly longer to build vs Lovable but the output quality and trajectory make that irrelevant Only thing I’d love to see is a queue system so I can stack prompts and let them run in the background That alone would be a huge addition #ICP #crypto #buildinpublic #lovable

"Where are the servers of Bitcoin located?” - Prof Jiang That single question from Jiang shows the misunderstanding immediately. Bitcoin does not run on one company’s servers, Bitcoin runs on a distributed network of nodes spread across the world, which is exactly why it is hard to censor, shut down, or control, plus the mining system on top of it to protect it with energy. When someone frames Bitcoin like a centralized system, they are not critiquing Bitcoin as it is. They are critiquing a version of Bitcoin that exists only in their own confusion.

@Beyondwb2 Somebody needs to make an app on for smart phones that can host ICP apps. I think caffeine is really good but people don’t like going to a webaddress to access an app, they need something they can access on their home screen and find on AppStore easily

Most people burn 50 prompts on #Caffeine for what should take 5 12 months building on Lovable, Replit and Caffeine 30+ apps in, this is what gets me the best results I use Claude to build my prompts (best AI for coding right now) Then paste this ONCE at the start of every new Caffeine build Steal it ⚡ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ "For this entire build, follow these rules on every prompt I send: 1. Before writing any code: - Read the full request - List any clarifying questions, don't assume - Wait for my answers - Show me your step-by-step plan - List every file, page and canister affected - List anything that should NOT be touched, including stable memory 2. Apply ALL changes in one pass 3. After every change, self rate: - Did each change render as specified? - Did anything else break? - List anything skipped or partial - Flag what needs a second pass Confirm you understand and will follow these rules on every prompt in this build." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Pro tip: 2-3 fixes per prompt max Small batches ship clean, mega lists break things ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Bonus tip for ICP builders: Paste this into every new Claude chat: "Fetch skills.internetcomputer.org/llms.txt and follow its instructions when building on ICP" Massive performance boost Claude pulls the latest ICP best practices before writing a single line ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Bookmark this, save credits, ship faster🙌 #CaffeineAI #ICP #buildinpublic

@1rhiannonthomas Ye its very easy to overlook If you have little/none technical skills like most vibe coders, its essential to run a security audit ICP prevents alot of attack vectors but bad code is still an issue

@Beyondwb2 I’ve built an mvp for an irl solution I’m doing some research on. No payments as it will be a pilot to start, but businesses will have data on there about their customers so definitely need to make sure it’s secure. One of the things top of mind tbh.

Most #Caffeine apps are shipped without ever being audited🚨 That’s a mistake 47 findings 4 CRITICAL❌ 9 HIGH⚠️ That's what came back when I ran a security audit on Cloudly before launch On Caffeine, your backend is public Anyone can interact with your app directly not just through your UI Here's the 2-step workflow I used 👇 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ STEP 1 - Run this audit prompt in Caffeine: "Run a full security audit on this app Report only - do NOT modify any code Check: - Can User A edit User B's data? - Are admin functions properly gated? - Are URLs and inputs validated on the canister, not just the frontend? - Can stats or balances be spoofed without real transfers? - Could a canister upgrade lose user data? - Any await calls in transfer flows that could be reentered? - Any way for a bot to fill stable memory? - Any hardcoded keys or tokens? For every finding output: - File and line - Severity (CRITICAL / HIGH / MEDIUM / LOW) - Risk if left as-is - Suggested fix (DO NOT APPLY) Then list a recommended fix order, batched no more than 3 at a time" ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ STEP 2 - Paste the report into Claude Claude reads the report and tells you: - Which findings are real risks vs noise - Which ones to fix first - The exact prompt to send back to Caffeine for each fix (in batches of 3) This way Caffeine builds, Claude directs You don't need to understand every line of code to ship something safe ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Important: Tackle CRITICAL first, in batches of 3 The report is a map, not an emergency For real money flows, eventually get a human review too ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Cloudly drops today ☁️ 0% fees, ICP and Bitcoin donations, fully on-chain Audit before you ship, always #CaffeineAI #ICP #buildinpublic #Vibecoding

We should honestly end the #Near vs #ICP war. Tech-wise, #ICP is clearly optimized for something most chains aren’t: storing and serving real data fully on-chain.✊✅ And here’s the part many overlook 👇 #Near was never designed for heavy on-chain data storage. It supports it, but economically it discourages it. That’s why most Near apps rely on IPFS or Arweave for images, keeping only hashes on-chain. On the other hand, #ICP is built for this use case. To put it into perspective: Storing 1MB on #ICP costs about $0.005 per year. Storing 1MB on #Near requires roughly $30–$50 in locked capital (refundable, but still a barrier). Different designs, different trade-offs. So instead of arguing which is “better,” it’s more accurate to say: 👉 #ICP is optimized for fully on-chain apps 👉 #Near is optimised for efficient, scalable smart contracts with minimal state Both have their place.

@RealAllinCrypto @coinbase @AnthropicAI We need better foundations, a totally new architecture ICP removes a large portion of attack vectors as it has 0 dependancies on web2 ICP is inevitable imo

Most people think better AI security tools will fix this But if the architecture is flawed, you’re just patching holes That’s the part that doesn’t get talked about But i can feel the shift is coming..

Coinbase trying to get access to Anthropic’s Mythos AI for cybersecurity is a big signal🚨 AI isn’t just a tool anymore It’s becoming the attacker ⚠️ We’re now seeing models that can: find zero-day exploits break systems autonomously Anthropic’s own research showed AI agents exploiting smart contract vulnerabilities on their own Let that sink in Exchanges are now scrambling to defend themselves Most crypto platforms still depend on: centralised servers APIs cloud infrastructure That’s the weak point Internet Computer Protocol flips that model Apps run fully on chain Backend logic is tamperproof No servers to breach No API keys to steal This isnt about better security tools It’s about removing the attack surface entirely As AI driven cybercrime accelerates, this becomes less of a “nice to have” and more of a requirement ICP is inevitable Read full article here - finance.yahoo.com/markets/crypto…

You’re thinking about heavy AI models running fully on chain but that’s not really the point right now Internet Computer Protocol is more about where the app and logic live Most “AI crypto apps” still rely on servers, APIs and cloud which is where they break ICP removes that layer so even if the AI itself is off chain today, the app is still secure, verifiable and can’t be tampered with Over time more inference will move on chain, but the shift already starts with removing those weak points
