Meanwhile, Back in Pickering, Ontario, I brought forward a Notice of Motion to our council asking one simple question: What exactly is being sprayed in our skies? I wanted answers about the health impacts on our children, our families, our animals, our water, and our food supply from these aerosol programs. Not one person would touch it. The mayor actually called me a conspiracy theorist. Well, what do you know… Councillor Robinson was right again. Florida just banned geoengineering and weather modification outright. No more treating our skies like a science experiment. Time for Ontario — and Canada — to wake up and do the same. Who’s with me? #Pickering #StopGeoengineering #CouncillorRobinson Florida is the second state after Tennessee (which passed a similar ban in 2024)

I’m not a name-caller. I judge on policy & impact & sometimes tone. And when people cheapshot Doug Ford or his family, it’s below the belt. But, this was a really low-class thing for the Premier of Ontario to say. He owes her a phone call & a public apology. It’s totally bush-league behaviour.

OPERATION GANGSTER’S PARADISE: @FBILosAngeles executed 30 pre-dawn raids arresting 30 alleged members of the Mexican Mafia in Southern California. Alleged murderers, drug dealers, and racketeers all taken down. This group is also known as “La Eme,” the “gang of gangs,” known to control nearly every Hispanic street gang in the California region. Well done to our agents, great partners and teams who executed brilliantly. This @FBI continues to break violent gang operations all over the country 🔥 nypost.com/2026/04/23/us-…

The greatest motivator in my work is meeting young leaders who want to change the world. Aadyant and David define that story serving as Pages in Ontario's Legislature, and one day, future PMs! Aadyant & David, from Vaughan, both bring great pride to their parents and our entire community.

The @FBI and its Newark field office are reportedly "spooked" and actively investigating a "sophisticated theft" of 15 agricultural spraying drones from a location in New Jersey. Experts and retired agents have expressed deep concern, noting that such drones could potentially be used to disperse biological or chemical agents. This theft is being investigated alongside ongoing reports of unexplained drone activity near sensitive New Jersey sites, such as the Picatinny Arsenal and energy infrastructure. Anyone with information regarding the stolen drones or suspicious activity is urged by the FBI Newark field office to contact them at 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit a tip through tips.fbi.gov.

Three Men Charged After Massive Cell Tower Spoofing Operation in Toronto Dismantled The Toronto Police Service has announced multiple arrests in what officials are calling the first investigation of its kind in Canada involving a mobile “SMS blaster,” a sophisticated cybercrime device capable of targeting thousands of people at once. Dubbed Project Lighthouse, the investigation uncovered the use of technology that mimics legitimate cellular towers to intercept nearby mobile devices and send fraudulent text messages. Deputy Chief Robert Johnson described the case as a turning point in Canadian cybercrime enforcement. The investigation was conducted in partnership with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s National Cybercrime Coordination Centre, Federal Policing – Central Region, York Regional Police, Hamilton Police Service, as well as major financial institutions and telecommunications providers. How the Scheme Worked An SMS blaster functions by impersonating a legitimate cell tower, forcing nearby mobile phones to connect to it. Once connected, victims receive text messages that appear to come from trusted organizations, such as banks or service providers. These messages often contain malicious links leading to fake websites designed to steal sensitive personal and financial information a tactic commonly referred to as “smishing.” Authorities say the device was first detected in November 2025 after a cybersecurity partner alerted investigators to suspicious activity in downtown Toronto. Over the following months, the device was tracked moving across multiple locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Investigators estimate that tens of thousands of mobile devices connected to the rogue system, resulting in more than 13 million network disruptions. In some cases, these disruptions temporarily prevented users from accessing legitimate cellular service, including emergency services such as 911. On March 31, 2026, police executed search warrants at residences in Markham and Hamilton, leading to the arrest of two men and the seizure of several SMS blasters and other electronic evidence. A third suspect turned himself in on April 21. The Province has introduced legislation to unilaterally take City land at Bathurst and Queen's Quay. That includes paving over Little Norway Park - probably for a parking lot. Council is meeting today, I am bringing an urgent motion to oppose it and fight back. Unilaterally taking City land is not acceptable. Who knows what they will take next.
Colin D'Mello | Global News@ColinDMello

The minister didn’t have details on Key questions: The length of the runway, timelines, what lands will be expropriated in total and whether nearby homes will also be expropriated. #onpoli
