@TwittyNat82 @SamaHoole @Under_DeSci The keto diet isn’t bad. I was more referring the diabetes treatment, but Keto typically isn’t good long term because it doesn’t teach portion control. You just cut carbs all-together, and it actually slows your metabolism because your body adjusts to your intake. +

@TwittyNat82 @SamaHoole @Under_DeSci The implementation of whole grains is to make sure fiber needs are being met due to the other dietary changes. It’s less to do with the diabetes itself.

@Under_DeSci Much harder to fit a nutrition talk within a 15 minute appointment. Easier to just write a script.

@NeibargerW67880 @Phaed @SamaHoole I believe you’re heavily misinformed about it all. Dietary changes is the #1 highest priority thing that doctors tell their patients to change when they’re diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. If you’ve had a different experience with Dr, change doctors.

@Phaed @SamaHoole You must not participate in American health care very often that is exactly what they do however you forgot about the 3 new drugs to combat the side effects of the first drug and if they did tell u to change diet they would tell u what foods are ok and foods are not ok

The tornado threat today could be increasing as latest CAM's & the HRRR is showing more of a semi-discrete nature of storms with better instability in place. Moisture has uptrended some but in a very tight corder & will allow for some pre-frontal supercells that will have the chance to produce a strong tornado.
