@CoachRyanHunter Coach! We’ve got most of our 25s that want to continue playing signed/committed, I’ve got a couple that might be available if the opportunity came. Also have a big class of 26’s untapped.

@IslasierraD @BowTiedYukon You obviously don’t understand how creatine works. It’s a feel source for highly explosive movements (aka swinging and throwing). Also most of the scientific research done on creatine in the last few decades has been on its benefits for cognitive function.
English

During our parent/coaches meeting for the 10U summer All Star team I advised the parents the boys should all begin a creatine regimen immediately
2 grams in a cup of Gatorade Zero every morning
One mother was completely against this and said her son would not be taking creatine now or ever
I advised her the “B” team meeting was tomorrow and she should attend that due to her son now being dropped to that roster
Back to back undefeated seasons are not going to be stopped because of overly concerned parents. I want kids that can hit dingers and throw gas

@ellyArcaRays @Challenger_ST Sure we can’t always do it all. If you have 350 kids in one gym I sure hope you have enough space to accommodate them or you’re doing a disservice to them. I would also hope you have enough coaches to make sure that each kid is getting the attention they deserve and pay for.
English

@CoachGaley @Challenger_ST As a coach, Tannar, you know sometimes you don't get to program your kids "exactly" as you would like. Possibly there are 350 kids in the gym and that is your only space. You do the best you can with what you have.
THAT is a great coach.
English

@ellyArcaRays @Challenger_ST Not a good speed drill, at best uses the lateral plane and that’s the only claim it can make. Could still use their time better most likely.
English

@CoachGaley @Challenger_ST Lateral work is almost never a waste of time.
Almost zero gym equipment works us laterally.
Not the rower, not the elliptical, not the bike, mt the treadmill, etc., This is actually a good speed drill.
English

@ooooouthatsJHW @ellyArcaRays @Challenger_ST After checking his stuff it’s not bad, could be better, obviously knows a thing or two, but could really up his game to a better level imo from a surface level observation.
English

@CoachGaley @ellyArcaRays @Challenger_ST If you’ve seen his work it’s not a waste this is at best a warmup for the real position work which is top tier
English

@ellyArcaRays @Challenger_ST His point is they’re most likely wasting money, for this.
English

@Challenger_ST It might not be beautiful in your eyes,
but it is training.
They are moving.
They are getting their heart rates up.
They are improving.
That's training.
English

@GarrettMccollum @Challenger_ST Pretty sure you don’t see many championship teams doing stuff like this at the elite levels, those teams are using that 2 hours to actually focus on things that make them better than their competitors.
English

@Challenger_ST The haters don’t understand this has absolutely ZERO to do with strenght training. This is a mental exercise, it’s about training your mind to do as much as your body is absolutely capable of. This is the kind of stuff that builds championship caliber players and teams

Almost 2 hours doing a wall sit?
Please find ways to be more productive with how you spend your time
Cloud Baseball@cloudbaseball
Scott Rienguette wins wall sit to failure with a 1 hr 43 min hold. Held a 2 pound ball the last 15 minutes. Perfect form. Also pulled down 100mph yesterday and has gained 12 pounds this winter. Nolan Freund was runner up. Nolan was our leading hitter this fall and is up 15 lbs
English

@hudsojd @Challenger_ST @JasonDillinger4 I am both a strength coach and a baseball coach and agree with Gerry lol. I don’t need a wall sit competition to be able to tell which of my players are mentally tough, or gritty or which ones care to compete. I’d rather my players spend time getting better so they dominate.
English

@Challenger_ST @JasonDillinger4 Yes you have proven you are not a coach with your statements. Coaches see the value in what that post was about. Now get back to your metrics.

@Mr_davisj Plus giving your athletes autonomy during their sessions is great! When I first start with an athlete I’ll be more hands on while they learn each movement and the process, and as they gain experience I gradually step back and watch more when chances of injury could be higher.
