Having watched this back a few times today now the initial shock is over, it's clear the Met are extremely sensitive to even the suggestion of excessive force being used, because they know how bad this footage is going to look when properly scrutinised.

How do I not hate men considering that I have been hurt by them, I know any relationship (even friendship) carries risk of heartbreak, and I see men being hateful to me here every day?

I don't think that misandry is real (like racism against white people).
However, I do think that in our push for equality and accountability, the way we talk about men in general is going to need to shift and evolve.
Some of the old habits are aging horribly.
