@FromKulak Correction: Muslim heaven: You'll finally get laid. Actual Heaven: You'll spend all of eternity experiencing pleasures and performing deeds beyond your earthly comprehension. Valhalla: You'll be trapped in a war zone, doomed to suffer the horrors of war for all eternity.

@rawanticristo @DanielvsBabylon The kingdom that openly bore the name Babylon is long since gone, yes. But the spirit of that kingdom still rules this world today. THAT'S what the Revelation is addressing.

@DanielvsBabylon Which is clearly NOT a prophecy of a future event, as Babylon "fell" quite some time before this was written. It is clear to me that early christians reversed this from, "Risen, risen, is Babylon the Great!" DCLXVI

@VidarOdinsonX @ShitpostRock2 This is pure cope and a psi-op to make you think Lord Yeshua is nothing more than a Jewish psi-op. If Christianity was a Jewish psi-op, why does the New Testament REPEATEDLY warn that the Jews are evil and untrustworthy?

@RETSNOM_A_TON It's weakness is being attacked by a singular super attack - not many different attacks. It excells against many different attacks, since it heals to full every time it adapts.

@fawzydawah There is no mustard seed dilemma, because he wasn't talking about the size of seeds - but what seeds turns into. The point is that faith grows and provides so much more than any other ideal one may rely upon for comfort despite seemingly being the least significant at the start.

Literally not a single Christian I know has any idea what the “mustard seed dilemma” is outside of Twitter Nor would any of them be stumped by it, considering it’s literally from a parable where identifying the smallest seed in the world is not actually the point of the story
Fawzy Dawah@fawzydawah

Christianity is FALLING APART because of this (Mustard seed dilemma) Jesus says in Mathew 13:31-32 the smallest of all seeds is the Mustard seed and that’s not scientifically true The smallest seed is orchid seeds, therefore Jesus got it wrong

@IjazTheTrini You use factual nitpicking to disprove Lord Yeshua's divinity when the point of the text you're criticizing wasn't the factual accuracy - but the message of the parable. The mustard seed was the smallest seed the Jews cultivated back then, but grows into the largest garden plant.

The Mustard Seed Dilemma— The general Christian response to this claim is to say that Jesus was speaking at the level of the Jews of his time, for whom in their general knowledge, the mustard seed is the smallest. But...if Jesus is God and all knowing, then he must've had the knowledge and ability to articulate his point without appealing to the ignorance of the common people as the basis for God's spoken word (the presence of this "proverb" has created an error in the modern day). Whether proverbial or otherwise, whatever language device one wants to appeal to, couldn't Jesus articulate his point without entailing a lie (that the seed is the smallest in all the earth)? By omitting the word "all", his point could've been reasonably accurate. By including the word "all/ παντων" he has created a contradiction and appealed to a non-factual, thus either he lacked the knowledge about the seed (ignorant), was poor in articulation (an unforced error), or he believed in what he said (deluded). The Christian response is just not good on this point. CC: @dawahxdialogues, @korrathetaymi, @muslimorthodoxy , @Kryptotajeer, @KingDawah1

@Ihunanya_chi Checkmate! 😂 Jesus said it’s “the smallest of all seeds on earth” in Mark 4:31 — the earliest Gospel. Why quote Matthew and ignore the source that 90% of Matthew is directly copied from? (Markan priority is standard scholarship for a reason)

@ApexSeeker_ We're unhealthy: We eat actual garbage, we're depressed constantly, and 70% of us took an experimental gene therapy a few years back. We have no reasonable hope to find stable marriages: We see marriage as a novelty that we can end at any time, and promiscuity is too normalized.

@japan_nobunaga The obvious. We should [ideally] fix our issues and make life the best it can be for everyone - but the absolute top priority is to never let things get worse than they already are, unless it's absolutely necessary in the short-term to get back on track.

Why isn't everyone noticing? If we don't turn back now, we'll end up living surrounded by non-Japanese people — especially radical Islamists. When crime hits you, don't expect anyone to help. We'll be trapped living in hell.

@fawzydawah The point wasn't scientific accuracy. The point was that his parables would be understandable. The point wasn't "it is the smallest of seeds." The point was "when it grows it, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree."

@SolomonAdekale @Neo_Paulinite @MattisRedacted Jesus (if he was god) would have known actual facts. But both the smallest seed and saying mustard seeds grow into trees shows he was just as knowledgeable as any carpenter of his time. So less god like than he should be.

@alchemy_sc35895 @MattisRedacted Not necessarily. It's the smallest seed the Hebrews and the people around them had access to. Or it could just be hyperbole. Either way; it doesn't matter, because that's not the point.
