Daily reCAP - Day 284 Today I pointed out an error in what something was was sold for. I brought attention to it partially as a learning lesson for people that don’t know that eBay sold listings aren’t always accurate. But also to bring attention to this whirlwind adventure that is pricing. There’s so many people that have never bought and sold collectibles and others that are self appointed masters and maxis and tell you that it’s gonna be worth $XX.XX in the future so you need to pay those prices today. We don’t need to be aggressive when people don’t agree with your pricing. Have a conversation and move on. But make sure if you’re going to be defiant and stick to your guns that you actually do your homework and know the numbers otherwise you’re just making yourself look foolish and know reputation follows you. PS @garyvee and @adamripps I know my bubblegum black cat is “Steep” 😂 but betting on you and the entire @veefriends team to one day get it to the point where that is looked at as I let it go for cheap. It’s a talking point to describe series 1 to all new people stumbling into my streams.

2 words… lead magnets We should let those pack work their magic. If the same crowd scoops and buys them along with selling to the same old crowd…we stay the same old crowd. (Not that we don’t love this amazing crowd), but I also think 99% want nothing more than to see the community grow and VF become even more successful. We should make these as easily accessible as possible to newbies, but that’s just my opinion. 🫶🏻

Another Episode of @veefriends hot takes... Isn't this exactly what so many people have been asking for? More affordable and draws the attention of kids and their families? Yet I've seen people who were upset looking for that now attack the hangers as a flip. These were designed to be provided to brick and mortar shops and grab the attention of new people and also get existing collectors to check out a new shop. I loved that. The White Ice looks amazing and definitely catches your eye. It would be easy to scoop up all of these and make the flip that I am seeing on WN. Heck @garyvee is saying do it. I will most likely snag a few for myself and to sell eventually. Seeing cases worth shown on screen as PYC trying for 2x plus? Stores are taking them off the shelf and going straight to WN and other online selling to make more than the retail price. There is a product that fits the low cost of entry and its seen more as a flip then educational onboarding. I would also like to pump the breaks on the "Check ebay sales." We also know Ebay doesn't show 100% accurate sales. It comes off as a push to people to buy to sell vs people to buy to collect themselves. It is almost like clockwork where it is said each stream. Growing a community of flippers vs collectors with that terminology. I don't think VF needs to sell secondary sales to get people to want to be here. VeeFriends needs a low end trading card that is printed by the masses soon so there is something that can actually sit on shelves and not be scooped up by WN armies. Not everything needs to be a race to flip and then mark up on WN to sit there for hours saying these are steals of prices for PYC.
