MAHER: “If you had to live in the Middle East. Any city. Where would you live where you’d be comfortable in that dress?”
ANA: “I’m sure I would not be comfortable in this dress in any of the various Middle Eastern countries that have been destabilized by—”
MAHER INTERRUPTS: “Really? You’re not really blaming it on whitey, are you? You’re blaming Islam on whitey?”

MAHER: “Okay, that’s what it sounded like… When I asked about the dress, you went right to destabilize. So is that why you couldn’t wear that dress?”
ANA: “You want me to talk about jihadism and Islam.”
MAHER: “Why won’t you? Why won’t you?”
ANA: “I don’t believe in jihadism, which is why I’m furious the United States just had significant Al Qaeda terrorists in the White House.”
MAHER: “But it’s not just jihadism that is preventing you from wearing that dress there. Are you saying every Muslim is a jihadist? I don’t think they are.”
ANA: “Bill. Bill, Bill, Bill. Let’s focus for a second.”
MAHER: “No, you won’t answer this question.”

I understand your disillusionment with modern evangelical teachings and churches. I grew up in a church where benny hinn and Paula white would come and preach once a year. I get it! Trust me.
But there ARE solid Christian churches who do hold fast to the truth and tradition, so long as it is aligned with scripture.
The problem with RCC & EO is that their traditions contradict the gospel itself. They’ve become like the Galatians and abandoned the faith.
Contact men like @thisisfoster who can get you plugged into a good church community. I promise it’s out there!

Here’s why I am disillusioned with modern evangelicalism.
Evangelicalism has failed to appeal to tradition, like the Apostle Paul has commanded us to do.
In 2 Thessalonians 2:15, the Apostle Paul says “So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.”
However, many Evangelical Churches have disregarded or even object to historic Christian tradition in pursuit of what they deem to be more enlightening in the modern age. It’s just liberalism infecting the Church.
I want to worship Christ with the faith of the apostles.
