Plastic-free Tip #331:
Shower curtains and shower liners are often plastic. Fortunately, these are easy to swap out, and there's a plastic-free alternative.
You can get shower curtains made of heavy cotton or canvas. It costs a bit more, but that's less plastic in your life!

@high_t_memes They are a fun novelty snack, but there's no way anyone on this earth would want a bug burger instead of something made from beef (or bison, or even turkey).
The climate change psychos are not winning elections, so their agenda was stopped cold in its tracks. Thank goodness. 😮💨

@Cernovich People forget that the Catholic Church is a nation unto itself.
It does not care about America, or Venezuela, or China, or any other country on this earth. It cares about Vatican City, expanding its influence, and filling its coffers with treasure.

Unfortunately, this is Oregon, too:

@AlfredAlfer77 Yes, those critiques betray a lack of understanding. Someone compared my video negatively to flash animations he used to enjoy. Who does he think made those? You, me, etc.

I just got another comment like this which brings to mind @MeinGottNiles latest post about his process of AI animation.
These posts always make me laugh because it insinuates that Directing, Editing, Storyboarding, Writing, etc. are not talents; Scorsese didn't have talent because he didn't sculpt every element of the film by himself and *only* directed. Editors in post-production who cut the film together are not talented because they are *only* editing. Paul Schrader did not have talent because he *only* wrote the screenplay of Taxi Driver.
All of these skills and talents are still required to make a quality AI animated film, and all are usually done by a single person. The person commenting is claiming I am not using my talents anymore because I didn't animate every single frame of this animation by hand - which I am capable of and have done for 20 years.
But these people never seem to understand that the 55 minutes of Will Stancil Show animation that I've done in 4 months would traditionally have taken me nearly 4 years, lmao. As I always say, Independent Animators are the only artists who are expected to do the jobs of hundreds of people. And when one finds an incredible tool that radically shortens the back-breaking labor while still allowing one to have full creative control (the equivalent of getting a studio of Korean animators) they then claim you are not an artist, or your new films do not require talent.
Really the only way to rationalize how someone could make such an absurd conclusion as this is that a) they never have seriously attempted to animate or make a film in their life and b) they have <90 IQ.

@AlfredAlfer77 you have so much talent you literally dont need to do this

They’ll have budgets allocated by their owners.
‘Book me a 5-star vacation’ and the AI agent autonomously finds and purchases flights, hotels, etc.
‘Maximize profit at my factory’ and it manages the factory’s supply chain, buying products/raw materials when it needs to.
Just 2 scenarios I can think of off the top of my head

Silicone is not really plastic as most people would think of it, since most (but not all) plastics are derived from petroleum.
The issue is less plastic itself, but rather the oil used to make it and its difficulty in biodegrading. It's why it sticks around in our bodies.
Bioplastics are safer, but that's like saying cocaine is safer than crack; they both have negative effects on the body.
English

@PlasticChairDis Silicone (aka polydimethylsiloxane) is a "food safe plastic" by definition. HDPE and silicone have precisely the same levels of biological risk, both of which are extremely low.
The most dangerous things about our foods is generally not the packaging. Its the food itself.
English

Plastic-free Tip #330:
Mason Jars are an iconic piece of Americana, but sadly, they are not plastic-free — they use "food safe" plastic, which is an oxymoron in my opinion.
You can, however, get lids with silicon liners, or use something like Weck jars for canning instead.
