Square just auto-enabled Bitcoin Lightning payments across 4 million U.S. merchant terminals. No opt-in required. Sellers receive USD by default.
This is the most significant Bitcoin payments infrastructure move since the Lightning Network launched. Every coffee shop, barber, and food truck on Square can now accept sats over Lightning at zero fees through 2026.
Jack Dorsey's Block didn't ask for permission. They flipped the switch.

Well ya, for myself. I'm speaking in general population sense.
Our goal should be to awaken as many as possible, but out of all the remaining people we don't get through to, the ones who own assets will do better off than the ones who don't.
None of us know how long until AI hyperaccelerates everything, and then those who own assets make it out best. So more people buying assets faster, equals better outcomes for everyone who did. Best outcome is for those who buy Bitcoin, but stock index holders will do better than people who own no assets.

Pregnancy was 10x worse with my pregnancies in my 20s than now in my late 30s and early 40s (second round of children, same husband). I puked nonstop through the entire young pregnancies. Got pregnant on our first tries in my old pregnancies, and they've been easy and happy pregnancies, with healthy happy babies.
Overall health is a bigger issue than age. Unfortunately, most people tend to accumulate medical issues, multiple medications, and sedentary behavior as they age. We're seeing more and more complications in young pregnancies now because our youth are increasingly unhealthy at younger ages.

No. I know you (and he) have claimed that DEI is the reason other people might have gotten more funding/jobs/etc over him from several different organizations that claim is very wrong. From what I can tell there has never been a single hiring/funding decision in the history of the many companies funding Bitcoin Core contributors that considered anything except intelligence, commitment, and history of contributions. The other day you tried to claim that I suggested anything but that but that claim was also wrong. At no point have I ever suggested, nor thought, that hiring decisions should consider anything but the above. I have stated, and do think, that it’s worthwhile for companies and groups funding bitcoin core contributors (and indeed, any company hiring) to reach out to people that might otherwise not apply for a job or program and encourage them to. Lots of research shows that when you do that you end up increasing the intelligence/skill of the people you end up hiring, not decreasing it - more applicants means more people to choose from.
