Instead of seeking feedback on how you did, it’s more effective to seek advice on how you can do better.

@Oleoleg123 @PicturesFoIder Why slow chew is important? 1. Chewing breaks improves nutrient absorption by up to 15-20%. 2. Slower chewing allows brain to put a brake on overeating 3. Careful chewing reduces air swallowing by 40% --less burping, bloating, and skunk butt 4. Less likely to choke

@PicturesFoIder Females are more emotinal and enjoy the food more. While men are more straight forward and will devour anything in 5 seconds if it tastes good☝️

My biggest advice to thoracic surg residents & fellows is to learn thoracic anatomy. I mean really learn it. Know it backwards, forwards, upside down. I mean - walk in the room & know what they’re dissecting in a millisecond glance type know it. @ThoracicStudent @TSRA_official

My biggest advice to anesthesia residents and CCM fellows is to learn physiology. Once you learn how to apply/optimize physiology, you can take care of any patient

I am absolutely fine with music in the OR (in fact, I believe the right music choice can help, not hurt, focus) as long as no one plays the ridiculous “let’s quiz the student on classic rock” game! On the other hand, cell phones and pagers should be banned from the OR, full stop!
