Lung cancer screening saves more QUALITY years than every other adult cancer screening program. This is why we fight so hard for this. #LungCancer

Thanks for the invitation @WomenInThoracic and congrats on a phenomenal conference, @maraantonoff and program committee.

Huge appreciation to @LorettaMD for an extraordinary #WTS2025 talk on asking the right research question. Her framework for relevance, rigor, and equity challenge us to rethink assumptions and seek root causes behind disparities. Better questions lead to better care.

For National #LungCancerScreeningDay, our Boston ALCSI team planted white flags in honor of the ~2,500 people who lose their lives to #lungcancer each year in Massachusetts. It was incredibly meaningful to have lung cancer survivors Lauren Coye (@LaurenCoye) and Jen Moran, as well as Kristen Kimball, join us for this special event!! And thank you to @LUNGevity for this wonderful collaboration!! Lung cancer is the deadliest cancer in the U.S.—but it doesn’t have to be. We’re calling on policymakers, advocates, and communities everywhere to help raise awareness and expand access to life-saving lung cancer screening. #LCAM #LungCancerAwareness #LungCancerScreeningDay

A beautiful reminder from WTS President @maraantonoff of why our mission matters. Moments like this show the future we are building, where the next generation sees themselves reflected in leadership, advocacy, and opportunity. A powerful take-home theme from #WTS2025.

Closing #WTS2025 with my eldest daughter Eliana by my side was unforgettable. Her poise and insight reminded us all why we build the future of @WomenInThoracic with purpose and hope. I am honored to serve as President of this inspiring community. #WTSWearsWhiteforLC #oncsurgery

Brigham fellow Dr Vivian Wang and Research Fellow Dr Chanda Adhikarla did an amazing job presenting their work on how Firefly will make resident education and feedback more streamlined and the impact of marijuana on lung nodules. @stsa1954
