Force? Field! Force tries to move them directly. Field arranges gradients, roles, and witnesses so they self-mobilize.

Do not overtrust what it says it wants. Track what gradients it reliably closes.

They do not want to be moved. They want to be the one who closes the loop. create the loop whose completion emits the behavior you want.

@dhh not sure how many REAL 10x engineers I've met. more than zero, for sure. but you can't swing a dead cat in an open office without hitting dozens of -1x -5x and -100x engineers society would be better off if we paid them to stop touching the code

Hilarious how we used to earnestly discuss whether the 10x programmer was real.

Why are you trying to convince the dinosaurs to evolve? Why aren't you just building the asteroid?

“fractal chiral reconciliation looping” nah, that sounds super unclear. Needs more $15 words 🤪

Accurately describing what I’ve been building sounds ludicrously pretentious 😅

@antirez I recently released @effect-native/tui-testing-library powered by ghostty wasm build to help me test my TUI apps Super excited to dig into what you’re doing here!

In a single session with Claude Code (Opus 4.5) I implemented, in my "linenoise" library: UTF-8 at the right complexity point (I had two PRs in the past: one too simple, one too complex), and my dream: a testing framework simulating a VT100 terminal!

@schickling I use a .tasks/ folder and .specs/ folder Working on transition to something like .homeostasis/ but I’m still iterating on the naming Maybe .gaps/ 🤔

Anyone using beads (coding agent memory)? Sounds very promising but curious to hear experience reports.

Unfortunately, I find coding with agents to be a lot more productive but a lot less fun and interesting

@samwhoo @imax153 node_modules code is great for how to use a package, but not ideal for how to author a similar package

@imax153 Why do you have to do anything at all? I see AI agents routinely dive into node_modules and figure out libraries from their source code all the time.

It's honestly wild how well Opus 4.5 can wield libraries by using this simple technique (I guess we're calling it the Context Repository Technique/Pattern?)
Michael Arnaldi@MichaelArnaldi

@pkishorez adding the effect repo and the libraries you use as git subtrees giving the model access to their code

@VictorTaelin Only thing that can let me escape thinking about agentic orchestration is an audiobook + chores/cooking combo Need my hands busy and my mind busy or else it yearns for the agentic mines
