Three possibilities:
1. Everything is predetermined.
2. You genuinely could have chosen differently.
3. You’re free — but only within a fixed system.
Personally, I think we're free to make choices but the number of choices we can make is finite and as long as there's a limit to what choices we can make, we're not completely free.

@Einstein_In @elonmusk Wow, the moon keeps getting farther and farther form Earth? Soon we won't be able to see it anymore.

@RandomPodPerson @cknze1 See you arguing that God shouldn't have a will?
English

@Einstein_In @cknze1 [The Christians who prayed for a miracle but died of cancer anyways are unavailable for comment]

The day my doubt became real that god could be a fiction,
I simply went on the net to get a confirmation of any miracle that had been captured on camera.
This was make-or-break point for me as a truth-seeker.
It is totally inconceivable that the god described in the Bible cannot perform even ONE irrefutable miracle to be captured on camera.
I saw nothing.
It was the last sniffing out of a dying ember.
In the absence of such a low threshold of evidence, your faith just has no option but to die a natural death.

Mad how biblical god went from splitting seas, killing armies and dropping fire from the sky to doing absolutely nothing modern that can survive a camera angle, a lab test, or a hospital ward.

@Javedakhtarjadu The Moon, due to its orbit around the Earth was closer during the Apollo 11 mission. The orbit of the Moon isn't exactly circular and sometimes it's further away from the Earth.

English

@fokyocouch @zone_astronomy Apollo 11 was in summer and Artemis II is spring.
English

@NASAAdmin @NASA It's about time manned space travelling is prioritised again!
English

Artemis II has reached its maximum distance from Earth.
On the far side of the Moon, 252,756 miles away, Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy have now traveled farther from Earth than any humans in history and now begin their journey home. Before they left, they said they hoped this mission would be forgotten, but it will be remembered as the moment people started to believe that America can once again do the near-impossible and change the world.
Congratulations to this incredible crew and the entire NASA team, our international and commercial partners, but this mission isn’t over until they’re under safe parachutes, splashing down into the Pacific.
English

@Ly04Ga @zone_astronomy No, you can see the sun behind the Earth from the Artemis shot.
English

@Einstein_In @zone_astronomy Apollo the sun was behind the earth and otherwise for Artem II ?
English

@GnosticSpider @cknze1 It's amazing how these folks reason. They take a form of open-mindedness, logic and science but are evidently biased, close-minded and regrettably misinformed.
English

You're not making any point. If you think that because you're sick and people are dying then a creator doesn't exist then you must be utterly delusional. Nobody is gonna live forever and however death comes matters less. Is it unfortunate? Yes, but that's the characteristics of Living organisms. Entropy is inevitable
English

@Einstein_In @cknze1 I don't deserve them, why shouldn't someone truly evil get some of them? You need a better moral argument than that. What about babies with leukaemia, do they deserve it?
English

@HelenAmbrose5 @cknze1 If you think some person actually deserves your disabilities then you're not truly a good person 🤷🏽♂️
English

@Einstein_In @cknze1 I've spent 50 years trying to get help. There is none. Wouldn't a just God give some of my disabilities to someone who actually deserved them?
English

@HelenAmbrose5 @cknze1 Why wouldn't he? Iran's conflict is political, talk with your government.
Your disabilities, I know nothing about but if you need help why not find it?
English

@Einstein_In @cknze1 I've got seven physical disabilities. I've done nothing to deserve them. Why would God make me suffer when I'm a good person? Why would God stand by and see those 160 children in Iran be blown to pieces?
English

@Einstein_In @MAVERIC68078049 Yeah, but that doesn't mean things don't end for a reason
English

Literally, aging is the oxidation of the cells.
Oxygen damages your cells, so technically yes, it's a poison that takes 75 years to kill you.
Everything that keeps you alive is also slowly killing you, or else we would be immortal.
Bilal 🎀⛷️@weirdngkid
what if oxygen is poisonous and it just takes 75-100 years to kill us
