Big piece for Denver that year. 2014: Next year loses in first round in 7 games to the clippers. Last 3 games he shoots 41 FG%. Crucial game 5: 17 points 8 turnovers. 2015: No Love, No Kyrie Somehow almost loses the series anyway. No FMVP 2016: Biggest choke in nba history by far. ADDS Durant 🤮 2017: 2nd option to KD No Kawhi, No Parker 2018: 2nd option to KD Chris Paul Game 6 2019: Forced to win without KD? No issue, you’ve won without him before right? You just swept the Blazers without him right? You still have Klay Dray Igoudala and others right? Klay and Dray ball out. Doesn’t matter. Raptors take a 3-1 lead. GOAT shooter Curry has 41.4 FG%, 34.3 3P% and it only got worse down the stretch. Doesn’t see the playoffs again until 2022: Nuggets - no Murray, no MPJ Jokic outplays Curry but Klay and Poole explode. Memphis - No Morant. He’s great. But a player like Hakeem has had a much more impressive career to me despite having less rings and finals. Difficulty matters. Injuries are apart of the game but they’re also a part of the difficulty analysis.
