Amazon just did a refund for an item I sold in September…………of 2023.

@JeffSendsIt Daily payout with 7 day reserve. First sale March 2023.

Amazon generally has 3 payout structures. They are: 1. Daily Payouts - No reserve: Accounts created pre 2010 or so (not sure exact date) have accounts that can request daily payouts with ZERO reserves. U can sell an item and literally be paid the next day. 2. Two week payouts: Somewhere between 2010-2015 Amazon launched two week payouts and this payout structure lasted for 5 to 8 years I believe. Sellers with this payout structure can only get payouts every two weeks. There is no reserve, but only get access to funds once every two weeks. 3. Daily payout w/Reserves: Its my understanding this is current payout structure. U can request payouts daily, but they still hold your funds in reserve for two weeks or so. Ultimately, your payout structure ties when you started. Older legacy accounts are grandfathered into daily payouts w/no reserves. Newer accounts have daily payouts w/reserves and those in middle got two week payouts. Its my understanding its VERY difficult to get Amazon to change these payout structures especially moving towards daily payout with no reserves. I've heard people say they have got reduced to 7 day payouts. dont think 7 day payout ever existed when onboarding but maybe something Amazon gave to people. When was your first sale and what payout method u have? Anyone here have two week payouts or daily payouts with on reserves? If u got daily w/no reserves your account IMO is worth quite a bit!

@Sam_FBA I’m going on a month in from when I first got my first sale. To avoid the here today and gone tomorrow like other Amazon sellers you have seen, what advice can you give to avoid this ?

@JHartFlips I’ve interviewed 1000’s of candidates and I think all of these % are too low.

Found a nice product reverse sourcing. Saw my local store showed a lot in stock. Instead of buying, I just listed it FBM. Sold 4 units first day. Now I know it’s a winner I’ll go clean the store out.

Second year in a row that my Q1 Rakuten Check is going to ACL repair for one of our pups. Surgery went well this AM. Now, containing her for 6 weeks is an entirely different story 🤣 She almost caught a rabbit with a completely torn ACL and meniscus. She and @sadeqwahab are ACL rehab buddies.
