@juniordrtruths @WorcsAcuteNHS Unless you tag the CEO you really aren’t trying to stir the pot. Come on! Guarantee they want to know about bullshit like this.

When did providing office space to a matron become more important than to the on-call medical team delivering urgent patient care 24/7 to over 500,000 people living in Worcestershire? Make it make sense…

Minimum service level legislation wasn’t designed to block unions striking, but to keep people safe during strikes. Similar rules apply in other countries. Labour are prioritising their union paymasters over the public again👇
Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Gov@mhclg

The government is repealing the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Act. These ineffective measures have not resolved one strike. Working with @jreynoldsMP, Deputy PM @AngelaRayner will reset industrial relations through a new partnership: gov.uk/government/new…

@EISSEM Recruitment for everything at that kind of level is just completely borked. Competition levels wild - have heard multiple accounts of teaching fellow jobs already wanting a PgCert in MedEd to get the job (which then offers a funded PgCert..?)

Ah yes... of course you need a clinical fellow post to get a clinical fellow post... The Escher of training. Has anyone seen an FY3 ED job that actually takes FY3s? I BEGGED my TPD for an ED job, she said no, I did tasters. Is it just....over now?

@TonyCar18928324 @Ask_foradoctor That not what it means. Too many new docs are excessively self-deprecating: eg referring to themselves as “just” an FY1 doctor. They have years of training and they will discuss their cases with more senior doctors.

Not really the messenger!
@emergingcannula @ShaunLintern @dave_dlt @wesstreeting To be a pedant actually means to be right. Words are important. "a person who is excessively concerned with minor details and rules or with displaying academic learning." Define, in this instance, 'excessively'. He is not an NHS doctor. He is a subcontractor to a particular NHS

@doctor_dru_ Not asking anyone to return from holiday..that would be ludicrous..try to follow the thread. Courier docs to you, sign return; or manage electronically. Is taking a few hours out of your statutory PAID leave that hard..I’ve often taken an urgent call while on leave.

@AlexPanton1 @doctor_dru_ And now we know why funerals are delayed, because a Dr doesn't care enough to make sure the relevant paperwork is completed. His time off is more important!!!
