A rabbi, a Hindu priest, and Keir Starmer went on a hike...
Night fell and they were exhausted.
The hotel on the map was nowhere to be seen.
They knocked on the door of a farm and asked if they could spend the night.
The farmer said, “Of course, but I only have a small room with two beds. One of you will have to sleep in the barn.”
The Hindu priest said, “I need no material comforts. I will gladly take the barn.”
The rabbi and Keir Starmer were settling in when they heard a knock on the door. They opened it to find the Hindu priest standing there.
“So sorry, my friends, but there is a cow in the barn, and I cannot sleep beside such a holy animal.”
The rabbi said, “No problem, my brother. I’ll take the barn.
The Hindu priest and Keir Starmer were settling in when they heard a knock on the door. They opened it to find the rabbi standing there.
“So sorry, my friends, but there’s a pig in the barn, and I can’t sleep beside such a filthy animal.”
Keir Starmer said, “OK, let it be remembered that I sacrificed my comfort for the greater good.”
The rabbi and the Hindu priest were settling in when they heard a knock on the door.
They opened it to find the pig and the cow standing there.

My wife has scheduled a couples therapy session for Friday
She said it's "non-negotiable"
I said "everything is negotiable"
I told her Friday is packed and asked if we could push it
She looked at the ceiling
Why does she keep doing that
Then she handed me a list
Printed
Single spaced
Two pages
I said "what is this"
She said "everything you've done in the last month that we need to discuss with the therapist"
I stopped at line twenty-three
Not because I was ashamed
Because the formatting was inconsistent
Some lines had periods
Some didn't
I made a note
I said "can I bring my analyst"
She said "only if I can bring mine"
I don't know what that means
But her tone suggested I shouldn't ask
I brought the list to the office this morning
Handed it to my analyst
He got two lines in and said the formatting is off
I have trained him well
He said "I blocked two hours Friday boss man"
The session is one
He said "you'll need the second for the debrief"
Then he asked if I wanted him to take my cargo shorts to the dry cleaners before Friday
I said no
I have seven identical pairs
He said "I know. I ordered them."
Open to suggestions on key talking points and leverage
Plz fix. Thx.

@Malcolm_Offord Things the SNP are NOT offended about:
Janey Godley
Rape gangs
Sexual assaults
Sexual harassment
Vile pornography 'taught' to school kids (the same content is too embarrassing to raise at an adult meeting...this clip has to be seen to be believed-👀)

Bill T@Tyndale7
@LauraEWebsterr The public deserve to know what the SNP are 'teaching' our children. You going to run this??? 👀👀👀 x.com/boswelltoday/s…

Since the attack on Jewish ambulances in Golders Green, London, two days ago, we’ve monitored thousands of comments attacking Jews for building life saving emergency networks.
This criticism ignores a basic reality: In Jewish tradition, saving a life comes before everything. It is a practical obligation, not an abstract idea.
For generations, Jewish communities built structured systems of support. Emergency response teams, volunteer medical services, charity networks and family assistance.
These systems are not exclusive. They respond to anyone in need, regardless of background, religion or identity.
Instead of criticizing it, more societies should learn from it and build the same.

@BasilTheGreat @CathDebboun The first greatest of The Ten Commandments “Thou shalt have no other Gods before me.”
Why are UK schools, knowing that it is against the national religion, Christianity, teaching children to bow down before false gods?
English

@BasilTheGreat It’s a fucking disgrace and it’s been going on for years and years.
Parents, nor we as a Christian nation, shouldn’t be standing for this.

🚨HOLY SH*T - A PRIMARY SCHOOL FORCED CHILDREN TO DO ISLAMIC PRAYERS IN UK
The school is being PROTECTED for fear of backlash and can't be named but is based in Lincolnshire
"WE DID PRAYERS TO ALLAH YESTERDAY" - One 7 year old girl told her Father
Children were shown a 'demonstration video' of how to properly pray on your knees with head bowed before doing it themselves
The incident came to light when it was reported by ANGRY PARENTS to Lincolnshire Police
Absolutely disgraceful

@AndrewHilaryUS @camilli_amilli That’s because hair doesn’t grow naturally on women’s arms/legs etc. We all have to put it there. 🥺🤔😂
English

@camilli_amilli Especially because so often the men have their beards grown out and look haggard as fuck! I need to venture out west again so I can see this bit!
English

@LizaRosen0000 That will teach the child to trust his teachers and answer questions in future school work. Not.

Never forget!
A 12-year-old Jewish child faced terror charges in the UK after expressing hope to live in a world where Hamas terrorists won’t be a threat to Jews worldwide.
The child has been traumatized into silence. He fears Hamas and made a mistake by voicing his fears, but instead of assuring him that Hamas won’t harm him in the UK, he was terrorized, demonised, and bullied into silence.
1200 people were murdered on October 7 by Hamas. The boy simply wished to be safe.
The Police in the UK are a terrorist entity.

@Umarinuwa71 @Isabelletkrause Sam wasn’t burdened with the ring so was affected differently.
English

@Isabelletkrause Sam was with him all along
Sam deserves the same fate as Frodo
English

Frodo leaving the Shire is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking endings in all of literature. He won. The Ring was destroyed. The Shire was saved. And he couldn't stay.
Not because he didn't want to. But because the journey cost him more than anyone around him could see. He carried the weight of the world's evil on his body and soul, and even though the Ring was gone, the scars weren't.
That's Tolkien writing the truest thing he ever wrote: some suffering in this life cannot be healed in this life. There are wounds - spiritual, physical, emotional - that only eternity can restore.
Frodo’s departure isn’t a sad ending, it’s the hope of heaven for someone who gave everything and was broken by it. It's about the promise that what was broken will be made whole. Just not here. And not yet.
