This 1 will take a while. In the first few chapters - & the biggest losers so far r the 🇮🇪 Terrible terrible struggles against the British for centuries who considered them “beasts” & applied their inhumane colonisation as the blueprint for America goodreads.com/book/show/1542…

@NicolasDorier I guess the implicit question “hacked by whom?” is what triggers the human ego. If there’s a valid P2QRH eventually available then it’s on each user to send their coins to the new addresses hey?

This is really trying to trigger drama for the sake of it... Such a move is purely about protecting the bag of existing bitcoiners, it's morally wrong. If it those addresses get hacked, let the price collapse and reward the new capital.

Cypherpunk Jameson Lopp and other Bitcoin developers propose BIP-361 to freeze quantum vulnerable wallets. This could lock dormant BTC like Satoshi Nakamoto’s 1.1M coins, now worth $74B, before quantum computers can steal them.

@Haso4M @alon_mizrahi @Berisha901 USA has been a genocidal state already: Native American Indians , and half of Mexico 🇲🇽 stolen. Then USA moved on to killing innocent civilians in other countries after WW2.

@bramk @BitmundFreud And thered b some future soft fork to P2QRH? Which wd mean any1 who forgets their coins will risk them being stolen? I do wonder what wider world issues there will be at that time when quantum is breaking stuff 🤔 I dont think “the world” will b more prepared than Bitcoin.

@BitmundFreud Stupid. Let the market decide. Satoshi’s coins hacked by a quantum computer and dumped in the market will give you a generational buying opportunity.

@RobbieBarwick Such a dumb poll. I’d say he’s captured and compromised if he can’t at least put “foreign influence” over Australia as an option.

Utter lunacy. Some Australians - at least 62% of the respondents to this poll - are so radicalised by the immigration debate... ...they focus on that while ignoring the clear and present danger of the fuel crisis, which risks food shortages, etc. We're about to learn...

This is the only reason Netanyahu will continue to bomb Lebanon on occasion. That small theater is meant to preserve his exit from Israeli politics after he needs to face the music when asked by the voters in Israel later this year, "What did we win when we bombed Iran?" It has nothing to do with trying to derail anything, has nothing to do with trying to extract concessions that benefit him or the US, and it most certainly has nothing to do with Hezbollah itself. Hezbollah in Lebanon remains to be Netanyahu's only outlet to maintain emergency war powers and avoid being sent to jail in Israel. Combined with the fact that Iran is shedding its Axis and IRGC baggage... The next moves should be no surprise: - Expect Trump to give Netanyahu the green light to keep bombing Hezbollah targets and/or perform wanton destruction on civilian targets, albeit at a much slower pace. - Iran gets to trade a degraded Hezbollah (for a better negotiating hand) and make it public that they're no longer supporting the Axis. That's what the reformists, pragmatists, and moderates in Iran will do. - The US and Iran are going to wrap things up between each other with the delegations in Islamabad. Lebanon itself *will be* left out for the next two reasons I'll mention. - Lebanon, reading the situation correctly, *should* pursue its own deal with Israel. That further isolates Hezbollah from the government of Lebanon, gives Iran the political cover to publicly abandon its proxy, AND it begins to take away Israel's bargaining position of seized Lebanese territory. I suspect that Netanyahu is smart enough to realize that bombing civilian targets in Lebanon doesn't do him any good... Which is ironic that I say this because it's actually his best short term move *IF* he's expecting to draw outrage and a response from the IRGC/Hezbollah command structure. Other than trying for this specifically, it does him no favors. It doesn't hurt his personal position, but it degrades Israel's credibility even further (which I think has already been achieved more than enough anyway). In my opinion, surely he *must* recognize that bombing civilian targets isn't going to move the needle. That's why I'm thinking this is nothing more than to buy him time until he can escape. I suspect this will continue until the end of the year at a *much slower* pace until the elections in Israel take place, in which he can state he's retiring and can get out with a pardon and Trump's guarantee. Hezbollah is there serving as Netanyahu's pressure release valve as it placates his cabinet. Nothing more.

⚡️Hamas Statement: We strongly denounce the statement issued by U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, in which he claimed that the aid entering the Gaza Strip these days is the highest in the last five years. We confirm that this claim is misleading and far from reality; it reflects a deliberate attempt to distort the facts and cover up the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in the Strip, which is being exacerbated by the systematic starvation policies of the occupation authorities. We confirm that the occupation authorities have not committed to implementing the terms of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement and have deliberately kept our people in the Gaza Strip in a state of "life under attrition," through continued suffocating restrictions on the entry of aid and the disruption of basic necessities of life, which exacerbates human suffering on a daily and systematic basis. The Gaza Strip continues to suffer from an acute shortage of most basic commodities, including food, medicine, and fuel, as confirmed by the reports and testimonies of human rights institutions and international organizations. Furthermore, the living conditions of the population have reached unprecedented catastrophic levels in light of the restrictions imposed on the entry of aid and the continued targeting of infrastructure. We call upon the mediators and the international community, led by the United Nations, to take immediate and serious action to exert effective pressure on the occupation authorities to stop the policies of engineered starvation imposed on the Gaza Strip, to ensure the flow of humanitarian aid and goods sufficiently and without obstacles, and to hold the occupation leaders accountable as war criminals for the horrific violations and crimes they have committed against our Palestinian people. @Aussie_Dad5 @RennickGBR @OzPollies Who recycles it? Wat subsidies r involved? Wat pollies & their cronies r invested in the recycling facilities? There’s around 20gms of pure silver in a standard solar panel- which isn’t hard to extract. Low grade silver mines in Australia produce 2.9gms for ton ore- and even moderate mines only produce around 70gms per ton.. so for every 3 medium sized solar panels tha get recycled- you’ve done the job of a full industrial scale mining production. Where’s the investment into this stuff??

“Australia faces a glut of old solar panels polluting the environment by leaching toxic chemicals into landfill with no viable reuse or recycling solutions available, the government's own Department of Climate Change and Energy has warned. The looming environmental crisis has sparked alarm among local councils and regional communities, which have accused the Albanese government of putting money into the rollout of renewable energy but not the decommissioning end of the process. Australia, the world's largest per capita adopter of solar power thanks in large part to Labor government subsidies, now faces its “first significant wave of end-of-life rooftop solar systems" but can't process all the “hazardous" waste that would come from this, the department said. •••••••••••••••••• So much for clean and renewable energy. Compare solar panels to carbon dioxide which is renewed naturally by plant life for free. The fact that so many people are brainwashed by the renewable scam just goes to show how powerful propaganda is.

What a geopolitical blessing this war is turning into. A complete reshuffle in international relations. The US will end this weakened and isolated, and China a global power with no serious competition. All of humanity stands to gain immensely from this
