I’m a 26-year-old father, I applied to $10 a day daycare the month we found out she was pregnant, my daughter is now born and just turned 1-year-old today. Still NOTHING has come back about the daycare. We are now forced to pay $1500 a MONTH (half of my wife’s income AFTER TAXES) for daycare at the only location with an available spot. As for our Canadian child benifit? We were granted $300 a month. We spend $200+ a month JUST on formula. Everything this man says is a lie, and they wonder why the population is falling off.
