@cmsinvests Love the grocery store grind. That is where I worked this summer to fill my Roth IRA. Thought it was a good job for being 18 at the time. Made just enough to max that sucker out last year as well!

@JasonL_Capital @DollarCostAvg Telling/Recommending people to buy ATM Leaps is really not the greatest idea. If you buy leaps, it is much more sensible to buy 80 delta or higher, to minimize time value cost. Something like a 10, 12 or $15 strike is much more reasonable. Don't promote gambling please

This was a simple trade idea post. I did not expect it to blow up like it did. With that being said, I never go all in on options or even make them a majority. I talk a lot about portfolio and risk management in my option ebook that I spent months creating. I usually make an options position 10% of my equity position.

@cmsinvests I prefer selling my own options with my $HOOD and $SOFI positions. Running covered strangles always collects premium, whether the stock is moving up or down.

Do you like selling your own options or do you let an ETF do it for you with something like $QQQI or $JEPI?

@DollarCostAvg I hope we regain the $20 price level sometime middle of this year, and hopefully push towards $25 over the rest of 26'. The multiples will continue to be cheaper over time, so it is bound to happen at some point!

$SOFI Reduced my position. Still Have significant amount of commons where I am comfortable holding Long term. Locked Profits. And will sell Covered Calls. Keeping the options business alive. Hoping $SOFI This yr hits 25-30 range toward q3-q4 .

Many people talk…very few actually put real money behind their convictions. I’m all about the S&P. So much that I just made a $65k bet on it next week. Sold a $649 $SPY cash secured put expiring Tuesday and got paid $500. Here’s the breakdown: If $SPY stays above $649 I keep the $500. Easy. If it drops I roll it out and down and collect more premium. If it completely collapses and I get assigned $65k of $SPY Good. Because the S&P always wins long term. You’re betting on America. Historically that $65k becomes about $169k in 10 years. So what am I really doing? Getting paid to wait Getting paid to buy Getting paid to own Then I take that premium…buy more assets…and repeat. Worst case? I end up owning $65k of the biggest lock in the market. That’s a bet I’ll make every single time.

Guys this whole beef between Public and Robinhood that we are seeing all over our timelines is because of me They are fighting each other for my business Public may be the underdog but they are starting to take the lead Let’s settle this… Which brokerage should I trade on?

@LEAPTRADER_ It's hard to calculate right now in my portfolio, but I think I'm getting at least 2% per month in premium. I'll have to work on tracking it more accurately

If your portfolio isn’t paying you at least $1k/month in cold-hard cash, you may be missing out. ✅ Selling puts = getting paid upfront to buy stocks cheaper later.
✅ Selling calls = getting paid upfront to sell stocks higher later. This is the closest thing to printing money the market allows. Master it before 2027 or watch everyone else collect your rent.

@vladtenev Vlad, Will Robinhood offer stablecoins like other brokerages and banks are starting to offer? Thank you for all that you do.

We must unleash the yield, safely. We’re at a momentous turning point for our industry. If Congress passes the CLARITY Act, we finally get the regulatory certainty we've been advocating for. So what’s the hold up? Deciding if customers should earn yield from their stablecoin holdings. To get this right, we must prioritize what matters most for Americans: value and safety.

Portfolio Update: Added another 0.5 shares of $HOOD just a minute ago. Almost 5% dip today, so though I would take a nibble with some cash I received earlier from a roll. Still have some premium left to use, but I want to pay down margin some more. Hope many of you bought too!

$sofi ONLY WATCH ACTUAL DEFAULTS The only relevant issue for any bank is actual defaults and how much they receive. These arguments about hidden defaults and discount rates and fair values and now loan structures have been made for 5 years. They keep saying that there are or will be massive defaults that are understated. Most personal loans are 2 to 5 years. Well, it's been 5 years. Where are these projected massive defaults? There's been tons of loans paid and termed out. None of this made up bs about all these issues has been accurate because they haven't resulted in material defaults. Defaults are down actually. I guess if they say it enough and a nuclear bomb hits New York they can claim they were right

$SOFI We suspect if we are correct SOFI could be hiding $10 EPS this quarter. We have nothing to back this up and might make a trade if the stock pumps.

@DividendBreeder Love to see that. I hope that I can get close to $1000 per month after college graduation! I would increase this each year however, and my time horizon being longer than 10 years, I'm excited to see how the future works!

Unfortunately, investing $200/month isn’t nearly enough. After 10 years following this plan, you’d only have $39,000. Investing $1,000/month? You’ll have $194,000 after 10 years. This is assuming a 9% annual growth rate.
