Skill Council for Mining Sector

SCMS participated in the Managing Committee Meeting of the Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) held on 2nd April 2026 at FIMI House.

Under this partnership, a 2+1 day RPL NSQF-aligned training program was conducted for the existing workforce of Thriveni Earthmovers & Infra Pvt. Ltd.. The first batch of Dumper Tipper Operator training at the COE was successfully completed on 14 March 2026.

🎄 Skill Council for Mining Sector extends warm wishes for a Merry Christmas and a joyful festive season

The workshop commenced with a keynote address by Mr. Shakil Alam, Economic Adviser, Ministry of Mines, who shared valuable insights on the upgrading dynamics, policies, Govt. initiatives and support, etc. in the sector.

SCMS in association with the @MinesMinIndia & with @Deloitte India as Knowledge Partner, successfully conducted the first Interactive Stakeholder Workshop on 16th Dec 2025 as part of the Skill Gap Study and Development of the Skill Plan (2025-30) for the Indian Mining Sector
