@NeedAccountToR2 @YuGiOh_TCG @Konami Sure, ED rips will be more impactful, but that's with one deck. Mistaken arrest, shifter, droll, di-fi/macro, are all cards that should be gone. They're the number 1 cards on everyone's radar and Ko-Money continues to ignore it

@Dude_named_Tim @YuGiOh_TCG @Konami The point is that, heading into KT format where ED ripping will be common, Yummy CAN'T run more than 1. Ditto Arthalion to 2. These are fine hits. I agree though that Shifter should've been banned, as well as Droll.

@YuGiOh_TCG This is such a bad list. You're obviously out of touch with what the community is calling for @YuGiOh_TCG @Konami. There is literally no way dimension shifter should still be legal today. Also, NO ONE plays cupsy yummy way at more than 1. You did nothing, congratulations.

@Kali_de_Armas Yeah I tried arguing like Socrate once, it didn’t work. The questionning doesn’t seem to conveniently lead people where you want them.

reading Plato for the first time and i'm dying laughing cause whenever someone is all, "Socrates, what is justice?" he starts saying shit like, "is a horse not a horse?" or "what's bigger, a city or a man?" and then the guy he's talking to is like "oh fuuuck🤯"

@EHpops @joecarlsonshow Moving on is a good strategy when you have a shit argument. You keep asserting that they didn't know the basics because they were asking him to explain what he was doing to the audience. That isn't evidence of a lack of understanding the basics; it's basic interviewing.

That’s not the point. Any business or finance journalist should know at least basics about their subject matter/industry focus imo and solicit responses in an EDUCATED manner. I don’t know this guy running $GME and I don’t give a shit about him but he looked a tad dense to me and nothing he said should have elicited head nodding - like wtf would they be nodding to exactly. You got a dense CEO and you as a journalist need to deliver something for the audience that is semi intelligent - journalistic education would have made a difference. Anywho now bored with this topic so moving on

I usually agree with Shkreli on most subjects. But this is a terrible take. CNBC's line of questioning was extremely straightforward and fair. They did not ask loaded questions. They did not try to ask any "gotcha" questions. They did not accuse him or mock him in any way. CNBC acted exactly how a journalistic entity should when interviewing a CEO. They simply gave him an opportunity to explain the transaction and he acted like a petulant child.
Martin Shkreli@MartinShkreli

everyone should treat CNBC like this

@EHpops @joecarlsonshow An interviewer's job is to elicit useful answers out of their subject for the purpose of educating *the audience.* If they sat there knowingly nodding their heads and moving on every time he refused to give an answer of substance, it would've been journalistic malpractice.

Peeps at CNBC should have basic finance training. kinda like baseball announcer should know rules of baseball at the least … issuing stock and the mechanics behind it is as fn basic as it gets. Those talking heads are cringy AF generally - if there was an alternative to CNBC I would jump on it in a sec.

@awmayhall @amazon You can walk and get it while you're being paid an hourly wage. Doesn't look to be in danger of theft. The Amazon driver is paid per package, not time. The driver is trying to deliver as fast as possible and move to the next delivery to get home at a decent time.

What the actual F###. @amazon Not only are my delivery instructions specified and explicit, but the hilarity of signs plastered everywhere only reinforces said instructions... Based on that perfect delivery photo angle, this driver clearly knew what they were doing…

“How out of touch can a person possibly be… ” Look in the mirror. Do you not understand how markets work? I wouldn’t pay $9 for a cup of coffee but clearly people ARE. And the value of something is whatever people are willing to pay for it. So seems like he’s explaining exactly that. You don’t decided the value of something. The market does. How ignorant can a person possibly be?

Starbucks CEO defends a cup of coffee costing $9 He says the customers needs to just not think about it as a $9 cup of coffee, you’re paying for the “experience” of getting a Starbucks coffee “In some cases a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging, and then what that means is we have to make it worthwhile.” He says Starbucks customers “want to have a special experience and regardless of what your income level is, in some cases, a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging — well, this is a really affordable premium experience” How out of touch could a person possibly be…

@Alonso_GD Look, he is not wrong. In the perfect free market, that is exactly what would happen. In an oligopoly, as most markets are now, predatory pricing practices and price fixing between the players is the norm. This being the reason why the perfect free market is a fiction

@joshkarnes @AConcernedPare2 That's a good point. The city of Orlando built out over the last half decade, changing the affordability of that particular house. Everything else, however, has stayed exactly the same for 50 years, like the value of the dollar and the availability of housing, so you're right :^)

@NeedAccountToR2 @AConcernedPare2 Reading comprehension: To expect THAT SPECIFIC home to cost the same relative to median income today is to ignore 52 years of growth IN ORLANDO. To intentionally misunderstand this is, well, I really don't want to call you dumb. Mistaken, maybe.

This house is near a nice elementary school in my area. In 1974, on a $12k teacher's salary, this home could easily be purchased for $18,700. In 2026, teachers make $55k. They can't afford a $485k house. Why don't boomers understand how bad it is out there?!

Boomer here. I bought my first house after ten years of saving like crazy. And the interest was 14.5%. I don’t know where kids got the idea that they were due a house and new car at college graduation, but that’s NOT how it ever was.

@joshkarnes @AConcernedPare2 To suggest that a starter home is as easy to buy now as it was 52 years ago is to ignore half a century of growth, as you put it. I know this is beyond the ken of somebody dumb enough to pay for a blue check mark, but try to understand.

@NeedAccountToR2 @AConcernedPare2 I literally cannot see how you are getting this from what I wrote. An equivalent house s no harder to buy today than it was 52 years ago. It's just that buyers today don't want a tiny starter house on the fringe of the suburbs, which is what this was in '74.

@AConcernedPare2 Well you can't discount a half century of growth. That house is very different now in terms of supply and demand than it was 52 years ago.

@MetaGamesGX "What's the point of judges enforcing the rules?" Really, now? I'm so for criticizing the time rules, but the solution to fixing the rules is to change them, not to break them. You're advocating for a workaround that would give the illusion of the rules working smoothly.

@Tyler_jedlicka @zooratpier But you're defending the damage by appealing to the definition of NM, as if the damage is irrelevant because GC got lucky and it wasn't "bad enough." People spend extra to buy NM to avoid damaged cards. Selling NM and negligently damaging them in transit makes people feel scammed

took gamers choice 2 weeks to ship and when they finally did they didn’t even sleeve my cards. not too much damage but definitely incredibly frustrating to receive my “nm” cards like this. will 100% never order from them again. they weren’t even in the top loader either 💀
