@lucastalkss Ronny is not a Jared Young type bat that can eat pitches and generate some good ABs off a bench. He has to play. Not necessarily every single game but cant be like once every 2-3 games.

With Mets choosing Mauricio over an OF like Morabito, this in my personal and humble opinion perhaps means they are also closely watching Polanco, and should maybe have him on bench for a few games to make sure he good? We've long since learned you cant bury Mauricio on bench.

What I learned in my latest column:
🤖 New connectors give Claude, Perplexity, Chat and more access to your medical records and wearable data. It’s a fun exercise, but a potential privacy nightmare. And you can get similar responses with more limited inputs.
🩻Research shows structured data (like labs + scans) tends to produce more accurate responses compared to self-reported symptoms.
👩🏻⚕️OpenEvidence—free, grounded in medical journals—is pretty great.
And thank you to @AmiBhattMD for highlighting that this trend is a reaction to the current state of healthcare: ”We have an access problem. We have fewer clinicians than we do patients, and that disparity is going to increase.”

The AI is a piece of the puzzle. AI is still not as good physician to interpret lab data and develop practical plan inolving lifestyle, rx, technology and more. It can repeat its sources some are very questionable. Open evidence has great ptential for research not as doc. I use AI to help my patients maxmize their heath

@matthewherper Almost half of the peptides that will be on the list are fda approved or humans studies showing efficacy and safety. Not sure where this comment comes from

Just because peptides are manufactured badly and contain toxins does not mean that they will be safe and effective if manufactured well.
Seriously, just eat whole foods, exercise, and maybe take a damn statin.

The New Yorker just lab-tested research peptides from a popular online vendor. BPC-157: contained lead. TB-500: contained endotoxins. CJC-1295: less than 42% of the labeled dose. This is what people are injecting into their bodies. The peptides aren't the problem. The supply chain is. This is exactly why the FDA reclassification matters moving these compounds into regulated compounding pharmacies with cGMP standards and real quality control.

The peptide crackdown is real. They (FDA?) got Amazon to take down bacteriostatic water (what people use to mix peptides) I just bought some last week, there were 20+ options when I bought, now there aren't any.

Whoop has made a lot of athletes money. You know that a whoop athlete has a good agent / manager because they enabled their athlete to invest. Many athletes miss out on great equity deals because their agents are just incentivized to get 10%+ of cash being paid to the athlete and thus block deals and investments when that’s not the case.
