The situation is much more amazing than is widely presumed. Related technology is poised to disrupt much more than just art, and those in AI know it.

I can't help but wonder .... 🤔 AI is given the prompt. Then searches the internet database. Then combines images together to make a new image. Would this be considered: patronizing, copyright infringement or a new inspired image AI created? Who owns the image or work that's created from the prompt? The prompt creator or the AI company? I created the prompt but the website claims since their AI created the picture they are the copyright holder of this picture 😏

This is why AI Art is a new art form. It isn’t as easy as it first looks.

I think the confusing thing is that I'm complaining about the populist pileons going on. I don't see any club worth fighting for.

I wouldn't expect to be able to tell the difference outside of matters of my own expertise, and I haven't been hanging out with Elon. The solution however isn't to spread slander unquestioningly.
