@FlaksOut @Nerdcognito Definitely! I once had a PC try amplifying a curse to summon a meteor for an 'impossible encounter.' Since Nat 20, I allowed it. Though the next roll was a Nat 1, so that meteor killed the villain... and the entire city the PC's were protecting, along with the whole party.
