EV-303/KEYNOTE-905: CHMP adopts a positive opinion for enfortumab vedotin + pembrolizumab in adults with resectable muscle-invasive bladder cancer ineligible for cisplatin-containing chemotherapy. Compared with surgery alone: • 60% lower risk of recurrence/progression/death (HR 0.40) • 50% lower risk of death (HR 0.50) No new safety signals were observed. @AstellasUS @oncodaily @Pongwutd @AlejoRodrguezV1 @zhentao_zhang @shilpaonc @cRama_GU 📎 oncodaily.com/genitourinary-… #GUOncology #KEYNOTE905

5-year CheckMate 274 results confirm durable DFS benefit with adjuvant nivolumab in high-risk MIUC (HR 0.74 all patients; HR 0.58 in PD-L1 ≥1%), with no new safety signals. Exploratory ctDNA analyses identify two distinct prognostic groups, supporting its potential to refine adjuvant treatment selection. #BladderCancer annalsofoncology.org/article/S0923-…

Adjuvant RT in High-Risk MIBC: Phase III Trial A multicenter phase III randomized trial in JCO evaluated adjuvant pelvic RT vs observation after radical cystectomy in high-risk urothelial MIBC. Key results: • 2-year LRFS: 87.1% vs 76.0% • HR: 0.43; P=.04 • No additional severe toxicity was reported DFS, BCSS, and OS numerically favored RT but were not statistically significant. @VedangMurthy @docpriyamvada @MahendraTMH @dramandeeparora @DrAmitJoshi_TMC @VanitaNoronha @GUpathMenon @drgaganprakash 📎oncodaily.com/wp-admin/post.… #BladderCancer #GUOncology

Real-world olaparib use in BRCA-mutated mCRPC: Dutch CAPRI-3 registry analysis: • 1,996 mCRPC patients • 23.4% underwent genomic testing • Testing varied widely: 3.8–63.2% across hospitals • BRCAm found in 53 patients • 27/35 eligible BRCAm patients received SOC olaparib • Median OS: 13.4 mo • Taxane-naïve vs post-taxane OS: 28.7 vs 10.5 mo The study highlights inconsistent genomic testing and suggests earlier olaparib use may be associated with better outcomes, though findings require cautious interpretation. @maartenvddoelen @NivenMehra @oncodaily 📎 oncodaily.com/genitourinary-… #mCRPC #OncoDaily

Bone health is becoming increasingly important in metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer. A new analysis from the phase 2 BONENZA study showed that adding zoledronic acid to ADT + enzalutamide improved BMD, trabecular bone score, and bone turnover markers in men with mHSPC and bone metastases. Vertebral fractures were numerically lower with zoledronic acid, although the study was not powered to show a significant fracture reduction. Important data as treatment intensification continues in mHSPC. @g_procopio_ @oncodaily @IreneCaramella @FrancescaZacc14 📎oncodaily.com/genitourinary-… #GUOncology #OncoDaily

𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗿-𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿: 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 Poor-risk testicular germ cell tumors remain a major challenge, despite high cure rates in metastatic disease. Key points: • BEP or VIP remain standard first-line options • Treatment choice should reflect disease burden, pulmonary/renal risk, and mediastinal primary disease • Postchemotherapy surgery remains essential for many patients • Salvage therapy requires careful CDCT vs HDCT selection • Brain metastases need multidisciplinary care Poor-risk testicular cancer is not managed by chemotherapy alone. @Noah_Onc @aloktewar @giannatempopatr @MichaelBasinMD @nzzmda @DrDarrenFeldman @siadaneshmand 📎oncodaily.com/genitourinary-… #GUOncology

Two FDA approvals advance ctDNA MRD-guided adjuvant treatment in MIBC. 🟣On May 15, 2026, the FDA approved atezolizumab and atezolizumab + hyaluronidase-tqjs for adults with MIBC after cystectomy who have ctDNA MRD by an FDA-authorized test. 🟣The FDA also approved Signatera CDx as a companion diagnostic. In IMvigor011: • Median DFS: 9.9 vs 4.8 months • HR 0.64; p=0.0047 • Median OS: 32.8 vs 21.1 months • HR 0.59; p=0.0131 Takeaway: ctDNA MRD testing is becoming central to selecting patients for adjuvant treatment after cystectomy. @ArielKann @cdanicas @therealmarcodoc @AndreaNecchi @DrYukselUrun @ZoeJuneAssaf @DrElizabethSC @OncoBellmunt @oncodaily @OncoDailyIO @FDA @NateraGenetics 📎 oncodaily.com/fda-approvals/… #BladderCancer #MIBC #ctDNA #MRD #FDA #Atezolizumab #Tecentriq #Immunotherapy #Oncology

PROpel Trial: HRR Testing by Tissue and ctDNA A phase III PROpel analysis suggested that ctDNA testing can complement tumor tissue testing for detecting HRR mutations in mCRPC, especially when tissue is unavailable or insufficient. Key findings: • HRRm status obtained in 98% of randomized patients • 226 HRRm patients identified, including 85 with BRCAm • Agreement: 85.1% for HRRm, 93.9% for BRCAm @nealshore @g_procopio_ @mozguroglu @DrCraigGedye @xiaohui_li @alanbarnicle 📎oncodaily.com/oncolibrary/pr… #OncoDaily #ProstateCancer #GUOncology #mCRPC #PrecisionOncology #ctDNA #HRR #BRCA #PROpelTrial #Oncology

ICI Rechallenge in mccRCC: Why Timing May Matter Global Real-World Evidence A global real-world study evaluated ICI rechallenge in metastatic clear-cell RCC. Among 6,737 patients with mccRCC, 2,773 had received ICIs, and 288 received ≥2 sequential ICI-based regimens. Patients rechallenged ≥6 months after prior ICI had better outcomes: • PFS: 8.8 vs 5.2 months • OS: 34.9 vs 19.4 months • PSM-adjusted OS association: P = 0.03 Takeaway: ICI rechallenge may remain relevant for selected patients, but timing could be key. @Anto_cigliola @BrigidaMaiorano @vale_tateo @CMercinelli @NazliDizman @neerajaiims @montypal @AndreaNecchi 📎 oncodaily.com/?p=499608&prev… #KidneyCancer #mccRCC #Immunotherapy #Oncology #ESMOOpen
