I'm from emakhaya and we had Malum' Zonkizinto who decided to open iBusiness ye Funeral Parlor.
His target market was people from the small village, KwaMhlanga. If you joined while you were from the place, you would get special benefits. People from the village joined. But the problem about Malum' Zonkizinto, he didn't like ukukhipha imali when there's a funeral. People died in numbers, abantu begula, every Saturday yi funeral. Uncle didn't like this ngoba imali eningi beyiphuma kuBusiness.
To solve this, he decided to build a clinic to stop people from getting sick and dying. He even started doing door to door, he would arrive nama nurse they would require the whole family to test. If they find you positive ufakwa kuTreatment same time. “Phuza amapilisi, iyadura iFuneral”.
One time, he found one family ineFlu yonke, wabathatha bonke wayobalalisa eClinic ngenkani. When they complained, Uncle said “Ngifuna niphile, Kub’hlungu ukungcwaba ama Customers”. A week ended leya family ivalelwe eClinic nama Panado neStofu. While we thought he was done malume hired security guards, if they found you walking around not wearing a jersey while it is cold, they would beat you up. “Mawugula ufe uzongcwatshwa wubani?”.
Every morning, those guards would be at the bus stop, zibuze “Uyobuya nini?” If you said late but awukaphathi iJersey, they would send you back home. The sale of alcohol was paused because Uncle wanted everyone to have a strong immune system. Imingcwabo asisayazi KwaMhlanga. If you get sick you will hear Uncle ethi “If you die uzongazi kahle”. He’s very rich, abahlali they pay every month. Funeral Parlor ka Uncle is making money. 😭🔥

FROM ROCK BOTTOM TO BUILDING AN EMPIRE 🔥
Meet Nomfundo Mcoyi — a woman who turned pain into power.
In 2009, after a divorce, she lost everything. No safety net. No shortcuts. Just a decision to start again.
She walked away from her career as a teacher… and took a leap of faith into business.
That leap became Icebolethu Funeral Group.
15 years later:
— 120+ branches across KZN & Gauteng
— International presence in London 🇬🇧
— 1,000+ jobs created
— 22 mortuaries built
She didn’t just rebuild her life — she built an empire.
Proof that starting over isn’t the end… it’s the beginning. 💯🔥

102 charges! Yvonne Chaka Chaka’s husband in massive tax scandal
The husband of music royalty Yvonne Chaka Chaka was dragged to Palm Ridge Magistrates’ Court in a tax drama that spans more than a decade.
Dr Leonard Mandlalele “Tiny” Mhinga, 73, appeared in the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court facing a staggering 102 charges linked to alleged tax dodging.
In a report by Daily Sun - The State indicate that the respected doctor and businessman allegedly failed to submit tax returns for years — with claims he skipped income tax filings from 2007 to 2022 and VAT from 2009 to 2023.
“It is further alleged that this conduct was unlawful and, in certain instances, wilful, resulting in multiple charges under South African tax legislation," said NPA spokesperson Magaboke Mohlatlole.
Insiders say the case paints a picture of a “decade of missing tax returns” - a ticking time bomb now exploding in court. This report has stunned fans of the iconic “Princess of Africa”, whose marriage to Mhinga has long been seen as one of Mzansi’s strongest celebrity unions.
Behind the glamour, prosecutors allege a paper trail of non-compliance stretching over 15 years — a saga that could have serious legal consequences if proven. The case was briefly heard before being postponed to 6 May as the defence prepares its next move.
Meanwhile, the National Prosecuting Authority has made it clear: no one is above the law.
“The NPA remains steadfast… ensuring accountability,” Mohlatlole said.
The matter has been postponed to May 6, 2026, for the outcome of these representations.

Firstly we do not support anyone getting into another country without documentation unless you are a refugee fleeing from death!
We reject, without ambiguity, mob justice and the rise of vigilante groupings that arrogate to themselves the powers of the state. These formations have neither the legal authority nor the institutional capacity to determine who is documented and who is not. In practice, their actions will inevitably target innocent people, exposing them to harassment, violence, and humiliation.
The verification of an individual’s legal status is a function that belongs to properly mandated state institutions: the police and immigration authorities who themselves must act within the law and free from corruption, including the solicitation of bribes.
We are further informed that the individual being referred to as a “Nigerian King” is in South Africa legally and has, in fact, acquired citizenship. While we do not support the self-declaration of traditional authority in areas that fall under the jurisdiction of existing, recognised leadership, this does not justify lawlessness or public incitement.
What is most disturbing is that these vigilante groupings have degenerated into platforms for narrow, chauvinist nationalism, increasingly marked by tribalism and regionalism. This trajectory is dangerous. It diverts attention from the real sources of the crisis facing working-class communities and instead pits the poor against one another, deepening division and weakening the struggle for justice.

Greetings and well wishes to you Mr Vavi.. Out of curiosity and interests, do you subscribe to what the illegal immigrants or the illegality they cause in the country, did you ever called them out on their ill advanced moves like this or you just wait to attack South Africans only?

AbaThembu Kingdom Distances Itself from Violent East London Protests, Slams Intelligence Failures
The Royal Kingdom of AbaThembu has distanced itself from the violent protests that erupted in Gompo City (East London) today, Monday, 30 March, while sharply criticising the Eastern Cape government, intelligence agencies, and police for failing to prevent the unrest.
The protests, organised by the civic group March and March along with political parties including ActionSA, were triggered by outrage over the recent coronation of Nigerian national Chief Solomon Ogbonna Eziko as “Igwe Ndigbo Na East London”.
What started as a march from the beachfront to City Hall turned violent after a stabbing incident, resulting in damaged vehicles, torched buildings, and looting.
In a strongly worded statement issued by Mayibuye Melisizwe Mandela, personal spokesperson to King Buyelekhaya Zwelibanzi Dalindyebo, the kingdom reaffirmed its support for peaceful protest but condemned “any form of lawlessness and criminal conduct.” It stressed that neither the King nor the royal council organised or participated in the march any attendees did so in their personal capacity.
The statement questioned what steps Premier Oscar Mabuyane and intelligence structures took after the march was announced. “If the country has intelligence capabilities, why were early warnings not acted upon to prevent the violence and looting?” it asked.
The AbaThembu Kingdom also raised concerns about possible rogue elements enabling the chaos due to the “boldness and coordination” of the looters. It plans to engage the Nigerian Consulate over the coronation, stating firmly: “The Eastern Cape is not an annexure or colony of any foreign nation.”
The kingdom expressed solidarity with the AmaRharhabe people, on whose ancestral land Gompo City falls under King Jonguxolo Vululwandle Sandile, and called for urgent government answers to restore public confidence.
