the worse the situation the better feedback you get on someone's true character. you'll never really know who someone is when everything's smooth sailing and comfortable. there's something profound about going through actual adversity with someone and watching how they respond when the performance drops and they're operating from their core. that's when you see what they're actually made of. the beautiful part isn't the suffering itself, it's getting access to the truth underneath all the social conditioning and comfortable lies people tell themselves when life is easy. crisis strips away everything fake and shows you exactly who someone is when nothing protects them from reality

The Safe Usage of Leverage In this post you'll come to understand the basics of leverage. Introduction Leverage is one of the fastest ways to blow up a trading account if misused. Most newbies see it as a tool for taking bigger risks, but in reality, leverage is best used to manage risk. Leverage Doesn’t Change Profit/Loss First off, leverage itself doesn’t directly impact your profit or loss. All it does is allow you to enter a larger position with less “locked” capital. But just because we have the ability to enter a larger position, that doesn’t mean we have to. Here’s an example: - Without leverage: To buy 1 Bitcoin, you’d need ~$100k. - With 10x leverage: You can buy 1 Bitcoin with just $10k of capital. The key here is not to use 10x leverage to buy 10 Bitcoin, but to use less of your account to hold the same position. This reduces your capital tied up, lowering third-party risk while keeping your trade’s risk the same. Leverage for Low Timeframe Trades Leverage is especially useful for short-term trades on lower timeframes, like the 5-minute chart. On these timeframes, good trades might only move 1%, which can be difficult to profit from without leverage. If you apply 3x leverage, you can change that 1% move into a 3% profit, still holding to our usual max risk rule. It’s the same trading process, but on a shorter timespan Key Rules for Safe Leverage Usage 1. Don’t increase your position size just because leverage lets you. 2. Stick to your existing trading rules and risk management. 3. Understand that leverage is a way to use your money more efficiently, not a way to gamble more. I made my account private a couple weeks ago to cut down on spam and be able to focus on other things. Engagement way down. But so are the annoyances. I feel I got a good enough group of followers / followed that I don’t need more scale or expanded reach to fulfill my objectives.
