In brighter news: I've got a lot of work lined up in other games, I've been hired to compose a musical that premiers next summer, AND...... I'm gonna be a dad later this year 😍 So all in all: 2026 is going to be a fantastic year! 🥰🥰

I've toyed with the idea of getting a Kindle ever since they first came out, but still haven't done it. There's something about a 'proper book', but right now I'm thinking that a Kindle may offer me convenience when I'm travelling. Any thoughts from Kindle users?

I have my mother’s phone number in my contact list still. She passed away. People that pass away in my contact list, I don’t delete them because it just seems so insensitive. I leave them in there. But I’ll put this emoji 😵 next to the name so I don’t call them, get all bummed out and be like oh that’s right they died. You know what I mean? I called my mother a couple weeks ago and this guy named Hector answered the phone. I said this used to be my mother’s phone number and I thought I was gonna hear her voice when you answered. He goes oh what does she sound like? Maybe I do an impression of her. I said no, cause I’ll know it’s you now cause you told me you’re gonna do that, and he hung up on me. But what Hector doesn’t know is because he has my mother’s phone number now, by default he’s my emergency contact.

Due to technical issues, we had to cancel the first week of World League (APAC) this morning. We investigated for a long time, but it became too late to run all games in Oceania, so the decision was made to call it off. We'll update how we proceed with the first week's games

@JamesAFurey My son had this accommodation and didn't use it once but he had the reassurance it was there if he needed it. I guess it depends on the person.

When I was in high school, I had a behavior plan for an “emotional-behavioral disorder.” I even got to sit in on the meetings and help write it. My favorite accommodation: I could leave class whenever I felt “stressed” or about to “cause a disturbance.” I used it daily. It didn’t help. It taught me to avoid anything hard, manipulate the adults, and blame everyone else for my problems. Plans like that don’t “support” kids like me; they train us to be worse.
