@oteycoueye Did you measure their cranial indexes? I suspect if you check the slope of the forehead, you will find they share more DNA with the Turkic marauders of the Khazar Khaganate than any Gaon of Vilna. The urge to raid your liquor cabinet is encoded in the haplogroup.

Wave of unpleasant Haredi bochurim Shabbat guests going on for months. Several years ago, it was all Elite Haredi Capital kids, pleasant and interesting to host. Now, it's these dead eyed tards looking for a place away from Society to go get wasted. Ads these COVID aftereffects?

You've got to sympathize with the Yekkes (and the old school Sepharadim.) They had a great thing going-their businesses, their slave ships, their newspapers-their genteel assimilation racket. And then a couple of million of their Hasidic and Litvak cousins showed up-"hi!"

@HeTows @tamritzblog Israel has a secular right, just not Ashkenazi-sabra-led. Yisrael Beiteinu is hawkish, secular, anti-Haredi, rooted in FSU immigrants (many Ashkenazi, not sabra) & long campaigned as "the secular right", closest structural analog to EU secular nativism, only immigrant-backed.

@BirthGauge @MoreBirths Is it (at least partially) because very low TFR migrant groups like East Asians, tend to live in the inner city?

@MoreBirths Australia has probably the largest contrast of TFRs between the inner city and suburbs in the world.

Detailed new fertility maps of Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane show how profoundly housing type and density impact birthrates. We find healthy fertility in suburbs with single-family homes but South Korean fertility levels in urban cores dominated by apartment towers. 1/4

@oteycoueye They use TikTok & Facebook as well (in other words, their information diet isn't that different), they're just the conveyors of the "Israeli periphery" version of it, for their respective audience.

@nntaleb Can you provide a single metric, be it in elite scientific output, technological innovation, wildlife conservation, agricultural productivity or economic growth, on which a region clearly benefits more from being populated by Bedouins & Muslim peasants (Fellahin) than by Jews?

I wonder by what logical hallucination a land hungry settler colonial/Apartheid state (vs resistant population) would be on the "right side" of history. But some genuinely believe it.

@DanielBachmat @tamritzblog 1/2 Hamas is just the political entity which ended up being the current dominant political representation of the Palestinians, in other words, its ethos & goals are those of the majority of the people it represents (some are more hawkish than Hamas, others are less)...

@DanielBachmat @tamritzblog When a population shares a common religion (most of it), ethnicity, culture & a deep-seated animosity, any autonomy granted, absent suppression of their ethnic grievances, will culminate in political entities fixated on destroying their mythic foe, it's that simple.

@Yakovolf The identity of Religious Zionists & many secular Israelis requires at least some degree of sovereignty, without it, they'd cease to exist, so for them it's an existential matter to defend it, while Haredim are still in the galut & could have communities around the world.

@oteycoueye Some of them are: "Latte-Day Saints", they believe that if only we had the right leadership & it provided them with enough "socioeconomic rewards", they'd be too fat & lazy to "resist", & we would be free to live the "last men" life to the fullest.

The latest Israeli left wing slur against the right is that they're "death eaters" (from Harry Potter): אוכלי המוות 3000 years of Jewish literary tradition, and this and Handmaid's Tale references is what they come up with. Too cringe to be allowed to live.

@HeTows @thobbesian The relative ease of executing a terror attack when you're that close to someone, would deem it inevitable unless an enemy country will manage to kill dozens at that time, but I do think that in absolute numbers it'll decline (the security apparatus will get even more competent)

Here’s a bold prediction for how much longer the Israel-Iran war will last. My estimate is: around another month. After this time, there will be a ceasefire and negotiations for a nuclear deal more favorable to Israel. Here’s my reasoning behind this. /1

@HeTows @thobbesian Would it be reasonable to assume that even ten years from now, the majority of annual terror related deaths will still be caused by Arabs from Israel, the West Bank, & the Gaza Strip, perhaps even more so in percentage terms than today?
